Oh. My. Goodness.

These Progressive harridans really are insufferable. Their smug self satisfaction as they stomp all over every single “norm” that allowed them to be the obnoxious creatures they are is maddening in the extreme. And when they are elevated to elected positions, the sense of crusading power emanating from their humorless visages really causes one to wonder if they’ve lost the ball. The fanatic believer has taken over whatever reasoning capabilities they once had.

They are the collective’s soldiers.

A truly vile example of the sub-species has recently resurfaced in public attention in Nebraska as a result of her advocacy for gender affirming treatment for minors. State senator from the Omaha district, she has tickees on all the right Prog boxes – got the poses cold, bisexual, pronouns, and a 13-year-old “trans” child.

What’s not to SQUEEEE over?

Hunt first hit the news back in March when she was one of the leading voices against a gender-affirming surgery ban then being considered in NE’s unicameral legislature.

…The vote came on the third day of debate, in which lawmakers angrily accused one another of hypocrisy and a lack of collegiality early on. By Thursday, the chamber had turned somber as some lawmakers opposed to the bill broke down in tears and pleaded with their Republican colleagues to reconsider their support for the bill.

…With the bill’s advancement, Omaha Sens. Megan Hunt and Machaela Cavanaugh promised to filibuster every bill that comes before lawmakers for the rest of the 90-day session. By the end of Thursday’s debate, other lawmakers had vowed to join that effort, including Omaha Sen. Jen Day and Lincoln Sen. Danielle Conrad.

Hunt took to the floor of the Legislature on Wednesday to confess that the debate is deeply personal for her, because her teenage son is transgender. She called the bill an affront to her as a parent and called out by name lawmakers she would hold accountable if they vote to advance it.

“If this bill passes, all your bills are on the chopping block, and the bridge is burned,” she said. “I’m not doing anything for you. Because this is fake. This has nothing to do with real life. This is all of you playing government.”

This is her totally stable legislative confederate in filibustering to prevent passage.

The dramatics were all for naught.

Nebraska lawmakers passed an amended bill in May which includes a 12 week abortion ban, as well as banning gender affirming surgeries and therapies for anyone under the age of 19. The governor signed it. The abortion ban went into effect immediately, and the gender “care” ban goes into effect October 1.

Soon afterward, Senator Hunt made the classic, dramatic pissy-Prog-didn’t-get-their-way announcement.

…Nebraska’s law also will prevent transgender people under 19 from receiving any gender-confirming surgery. It restricts the use of hormone treatments and puberty blockers in minors, putting the state’s chief medical officer — a political appointee who is an ear, nose and throat doctor — in charge of setting the rules for those therapies. In Nebraska, people younger than 19 are considered minors.

…One Nebraska lawmaker, Omaha state Sen. Megan Hunt, disclosed in March that her teenage son is transgender and said Friday that she now plans to leave the state.

She’s taking her “trans” minor child, and going…somewhere she can have it mutilated, believing it wants itself mutilated (or being convinced it does – who’s to know), as she sees fit.

Well. Here it is August, and go figure – Senator Hunt’s still in NE, making friends and influencing people.

It’s not enough she has the #sadz children can’t be sliced and diced at will in NE anymore. Tragically, that colors every waking moment for her.

She also decided it would be a terrific time to pick a fight over the rights of biological WOMEN, too. And who’d she go after?

Well, this pretty terrific gal who’s a helluva swimmer came to Nebraska the other day to make her case for WOMEN’s sports to remain exclusively for biological women…

A former All-American swimmer brought her crusade to keep transgender women out of women’s sports to Nebraska Sunday, speaking to more than 1,000 people at an event marked by Christian faith and patriotic fervor.

Riley Gaines, who swam for the University of Kentucky, tied the issue of transgender women in women’s sports to an array of other issues in America. She also said transgender women try to join sororities and seek to be housed in women’s prisons, with the goal of having access to women.

…and didn’t that light Senator Megan Hunt off like a snotty rocket.

I’d say she’s unbelievable but she’s all too believable as these types are a dime a dozen on any street corner demonstration, or policing the traffic flow floor arrows at a grocery store during a pandemic.

Emotive as she is in “defense” of everything alphabet soup sex, you’ll not be surprised to find she’s also really vicious. Oh, she’s got that Prog shiv ready at a moment’s notice and she doesn’t care who she destroys – that’s literally “destroys.”

In 2020, a young man named Jake Gardner was guarding the bar he owned in Omaha during another St. George of Floyd inspired night of Black Lives Matter rioting. Eventually, and tragically, the looters and rioters broke into his establishment, and one attacked him personally after he tried to fend them off.

He shot and killed the 22 -year-old assailant, who was literally on his back at the time.

At first, Omaha’s liberal DA said it was a clear-cut case of self-defense and refused to press charges against Gardner. All it took was a month and unrelenting woke mob intimidation to turn it all around.

Helpfully led by you’ll never guess who.

…Omaha County Attorney Don Kleine – a progressive Democrat – ultimately determined after an investigation that Gardner had acted in genuine self-defense and chose not to pursue charges.

…White State Senator Megan Hunt said the decision played into the hand of white supremacists, which she claimed Gardner was.

‘White supremacist groups, including ones Jake Gardner was in communication with, rely on you thinking that none of this is a big deal so they can organize their support,’ she said.

Who then cheered the veteran’s suicide shortly after being charged with manslaughter for defending himself, and facing up to 95 years. All because a woke mob smeared a man who, again, acted in self defense against an assailant captured on video on Gardner’s back, as well as on camera looting and trespassing in several other downtown businesses before he fatefully entered Gardner’s bar to, presumably, carry on with the same.
