When Hamas began its war with Israel this weekend, fingers were pointed at the Biden administration. The Biden administration eased sanctions on $6B of frozen Iranian funds and allowed a transfer of the funds from South Korea to Qatar. The frozen assets were a part of a hostage deal with Iran that freed five Americans.

Hamas infiltrated southern Israel from the Gaza Strip and launched a surprise attack. War was declared by Israel, and now we wait to see if Israel does what has to be done and decimate Hamas.

These actions by Hamas were not terrorist attacks, they were acts of war. Hamas is funded by Iran. As soon as conservatives began to correctly connect the dots, Democrats and Biden surrogates spoke up to say that oh, no, those billions of dollars didn’t fund a war with Israel. Perhaps not literally, but the money certainly will be used to replenish Iranian coffers as it continues to fund Hamas and its attempt to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. To say otherwise is a fairy tale.

On Sunday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken was on all the Sunday morning political shows to answer questions about the war that has started in Israel. He didn’t admit what a bone-headed move it was to supply Iranians with billions of dollars but he did let the truth come out. Blinken admitted on Meet the Press that “Iran has unfortunately always used and focused its funds on supporting terrorism.” All the gaslighting going on by Team Biden and its Democrat supporters was thrown under the bus by that one statement.

Of course, reasonable people understand that Iran funds terrorism. Hamas is a proxy in Iran’s war against Israel. Nonetheless, Biden and his administration are hellbent to do the same as Biden and the Obama administration did. They try to cozy up to Iran in hopes of deterring its nuclear program. It’s the absolute definition of insanity but Biden tried to pick up where Obama left off when he came into office. How many pallets of billions of dollars have to land in the bank accounts of Iranian authoritarian leadership before it dawns on the leftists that nothing changes? Iran isn’t just going to stop doing what they are doing. Iran takes the money and laughs at us. This time they started a war with Israel.

Reaction to the attacks from the left have been stomach-churning. It’s bad enough that the media blames Israel for the attacks launched on the country, and just expects Israel to stand down and show restraint, but leftists are doing it, too.

Blinken told CNN’s Dana Bash that Republicans are “either misinformed or they’re misinforming” when pointing out Biden’s actions and how they play a role in helping Iran finance Hamas. Blinken thinks we’re stupid. We see you, Antony Blinken. Hamas and their Iranian sponsors are animals. They have to be destroyed now. As far as I’m concerned, Israel can turn Gaza into dust.

Paying ransom for Americans held hostage in dangerous parts of the world does not stop terrorism. Appeasement does not ever end well. I hope Israel will stand strong and do what has to be done.
