Karine Jean-Pierre: "I'm a historic figure and I certainly walk in history every day."

White House Press Secretary is quite taken with herself. She is elevating herself to a person of historical significance just days after she was called on the carpet for violating the Hatch Act.

Suddenly Karine Jean-Pierre (KJP) is doing personal interviews, not as Joe Biden’s mouthpiece but as a very important person, perhaps the most important person in the Biden administration. That’s a little bit of an exaggeration but not much. She is appearing with left-wing reporters to tell them that she has the hardest job in the White House. Any word from the president or perhaps anyone else with an important job? No, of course not. She can say what she wants and she does. Look no further than her defiant attitude toward the Hatch Act. She doubled-down and said she will continue to use the term “MAGA Republicans”, the term that got her into hot water and found by the OSC to be election interference. She doesn’t care. Rules aren’t for her.

In case anyone has forgotten, at the time she took the podium when Jen Psaki left for greener pastures in cable television, KJP was touted as an historic hire. At every opportunity possible, the Biden administration is quick to point out historic hires. Joe Biden does this because he hires people according to the identity boxes they check off, not for qualifications or experience in the job. KJP is the trifecta of diversity hires – she’s a black woman, an immigrant, and she’s a lesbian. Unfortunately, her ethnicity, her sexuality, or her immigration status does not have anything to do with her job. Her job is to speak for the president. Period. She answers the questions of reporters during daily press briefings at the White House, doing something the president refuses to do. She totes around a large binder with all of the administration’s talking point. Without that binder, she cannot answer questions.

The Grio did a lightweight story on her. Perhaps we should blame former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain for her over-sized ego.

“Ron Klain, the former chief of staff, used to say to me, ‘You have the hardest job in this building,’” recalled Jean-Pierre, who said it can often feel like having the “weight of the world” on her shoulders when she goes to the briefing room podium. “It is not for everyone,” she added.

No doubt it is hard to speak for the president because he is so inarticulate and he mumbles weird expressions that no one understands. It is her job to answer questions and clean it up for the press. The problem is that she is not the sharpest tool in the shed and resorts to reading answers from the binder rather than speak in a normal way when she answers questions. She has no idea what she is saying, just like her boss.

She has a staff of twelve, which makes her incompetence all the more flabbergasting. The top priority for her is to promote black and alphabet brigade communities. Both communities are in the minority in the country but never mind. Her sexuality is the most important aspect of her life and it goes into her professional performance, apparently. She must be thrilled that Joe Biden is willing to appease the most extreme agendas in order to win re-election.

On his behalf, as press secretary, she has been particularly clear in communicating the president’s support for the Black and LGBTQ+ communities.

“It’s the most pro-equality administration in history,” she declared, recalling Biden’s nomination of the first Black woman, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court and his signing of the Respect for Marriage Act, which codified same-sex marriage into law for the first time in U.S. history.

Inflation? Interest rates? School choice? Jobs? Nah. It’s important for her to say that Biden’s is the “most pro-equality administration in history.” Is that a real accomplishment? It means that Biden hired more from that community than previous administrations. That’s all. It doesn’t mean they are qualified for their jobs, just that they are members of certain communities. What a shallow and unproductive way to run an administration. Checking boxes.

KJP admits that she doesn’t watch Fox News and ignores her own press.

“I don’t read anything good about myself, and I don’t read anything bad about myself,” she revealed. “I put it to the side [and] I do my business … the best way that I can on behalf of the president.”

Who believes that? A person with an ego that allows her to say such immodest things as she is an historical figure is most definitely reading what is printed about her. Give me a break.

“It’s not lost on me, the communities that I represent and what I mean to those communities and how they view me at the podium and how important it is to them,” said Jean-Pierre. “I’m representing the Black community, the Caribbean community, the LGBTQ community. And it is incredibly important to me that I do that well.”

Oops. Too late. That ship has sailed. She is the most inept and incompetent White House press secretary I have ever seen and that is saying something. She is truly an embarrassment.

The arrogance of the Biden administration is on full display. The lack of self-awareness is stunning. She should be fired for continued violations of the Hatch Act, deliberately interfering in elections as we approach a presidential election. She can take Andrew Bates, the deputy press secretary, with her. He wrote the memo that they should continue to use the term “MAGA Republicans.”
