Andrew Tate's cars seized, his 'angels' arrested, plus two women describe his 'loverboy' approach to recruiting

Last week Andrew Tate, his brother and two other people were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking. On the day of his arrest there were lots of people claiming he’d been quickly released but that wasn’t true. Tate and the three others are still in jail potentially for another 30 days while the investigation into their activities continues. Yesterday a Romanian news outlet called Gandul reported that 11 of Tate’s cars had been put under seal by authorities:

Eight luxury cars are impounded right in the yard of the two millionaires and they could end up in the custody of the authorities, if it is found that they were bought as a result of crimes.

The cars DIICOT prosecutors have sealed include a Lada 1500 worth around €10,000, an Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate worth €250,000, a Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge worth €360,000 and a BMW X6 M, 30,000 euros.

There are photos of the cars at the link above. Insider confirmed with Romanian authorities that the cars will be held in case there are any settlements with the victims.

Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for Romania’s DIICOT investigations agency, confirmed the car seizures to Insider on Wednesday.

She said they were being held to “sustain the cost of the investigation” into Tate, and that they would also be collateral to fund any payments awards to their alleged victims.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail had learned the identities of the two women who were arrested alongside the Tate brothers. For some reason, I’d assumed the other two people arrested were men but that’s definitely not the case.

Luana Radu, 32 was previously based at a police station in central Bucharest but quit the force eight years ago to pursue a career working in video chat rooms, which attract men from all over the world and have become a lucrative industry in Romania.

Stunning model Georgiana Naghel, 28, who is also an American citizen, is described as a businesswoman and influencer who is believed to have been dating Tate for almost a year…

A police source told MailOnline: ‘These two women are Tate’s trusted lieutenants and his angels.

‘They are an important part of the crimes that took place because they made sure that the women being held against their will did as they were told.

Radu’s Twitter account is still active. Here’s one of her tamer posts.

Naghel has an Instagram page which mostly consists of her posing with Tate’s cars.

Radu and Naghel are reportedly sharing a cell at the jail. Finally, we’re learning some more about how Tate’s empire operated. Romanian police call it the “loverboy” approach and two different women have spoken to news outlets claiming he approached them online. The first was only 16 when Tate contacted her and some of her friends around the same time.

Romanian investigators have accused Tate of using “the loverboy method” — seducing unsuspecting women before forcing them to perform in porn under the threat of violence from his organized gang…

“I had just created an account on Instagram when I received a message, quite suggestive, in which Andrew Tate basically asked me to go out with him,” Daria Gusa, now 19, told the local outlet Realitatea Plus.

“It seemed strange to me that someone with millions of followers [would] contact me, who had 200,” she said — before realizing he had made similar approaches to many of her friends and colleagues, too.

“Another colleague continued to chat with him, and [he] invited her directly to go out with him,” she said — also calling it “the ‘loverboy’ method” and suggesting it was used on any girls he found close to his home…

While she stopped chatting with Tate, she said other young women contacted by him told her that the former UK reality TV star “bragged about the luxury cars, the restaurants he could take them to, his 20 million euro plane” while trying to seduce them.

A former Playboy model named Carla Howe told the Daily Mail a similar story of being approached online by Tate but eventually decided not to accept his invitation.

Carla Howe, 32, said she was shocked and feels that she had a lucky escape after the disgraced influencer was arrested with his brother and subsequently two others in connection with alleged human trafficking and rape…

She told friends: ‘He wanted me to go to Romania and I was tempted. It makes me think now how it could have gone terribly. I’d probably have ended up not leaving the house ever.’

Ms Howe confided how Tate showered her with compliments and romantic messages after they began to chat online when he sent a private message to her Instagram account in February.

But she claimed she quickly learned of a darker side of his character when his messages became ‘controlling and aggressive’…

‘Things could have turned out very differently if I had gone – I hate to think.

Howe did briefly meet Tate at a boxing match where she was a ring girl.

Here’s the clip Tate’s fans are pointing to.

Some on Twitter are calling Howe a liar and worse. She’s clearly hearing from some of Tate’s fans and posted this response today.

She hasn’t posted any of the DMs Tate allegedly sent so who knows what the truth is here. But again, she’s not the only person making claims like this. The bottom line here is that it really sounds as Tate’s legal problems aren’t going away anytime soon. We’ll have to wait and see what the Romanian justice system, the system that Tate chose to live under, can put together in the next 30 days.
