Shout! Studios and Fathom Entertainment have announced the Monty Python and the Holy Grail rerelease dates for the upcoming limited theatrical screenings of the classic comedy movie. Since its debut in 1975, the film has maintained a Certified Fresh rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“This cult classic comedy from the Monty Python team loosely follows the legend of King Arthur, along with his squire and his Knights of the Round Table, as they embark on a fearless quest in search of the elusive Holy Grail,” reads the official synopsis.”During their quest, they face a wide array of horrors, including a persistent Black Knight, a three-headed giant, a cadre of shrubbery-challenged knights, the perilous Castle Anthrax, a killer rabbit, a house of virgins, and a handful of rude Frenchmen.”
When is the Monty Python and the Holy Grail rerelease date?
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Monty Python and the Holy Grail will officially be heading back to nationwide theaters on Sunday, May 4, and on Wednesday May 7, 2025. Tickets for the special screenings will be available to purchase starting on Friday, April 4 at Fathom Entertainment website, or at participating theater box offices.
