Comer Demands Interviews of FTC Staff in Broader Probe of Lina Khan

House Republicans are demanding transcribed interviews with five senior US Federal Trade Commission officials, doubling down on probes into Chair Lina Khan.

The letter seeks recorded interviews with the heads of the FTC’s three major units focused on economics, consumer protection and competition, as well as a top staffer on international affairs and the agency’s executive director, who manages the budget, IT and human resources issues.

Interesting. I'd love to see a consensus approach on discouraging large-scale consolidation, but Khan's efforts at the FTC are ideological and partisan. Congress needs to legislate on this rather than defer to executive-branch agencies with far too much room for activism.
