The feds had been looking into claims that foreign countries and other individuals were trying to influence the Clintons through donations to their namesake non-profit and Hillary’s presidential campaign.

Three of the FBI’s four investigations that were launched in early 2016 were looking into allegations that the Clinton Foundation has a hub of “criminal activity.”

[We knew about the one investigation that Durham highlighted in the executive summary. That had to do with the receipt of one or more campaign donations by a known foreign source, which is a federal crime. Durham used it to compare the treatment of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump by the FBI in the presidential election, specifically about the differing evidentiary thresholds used by the bureau. It will be interesting to see what now happens with the other probes of “criminal activity,” if anything. — Ed]
