I suspect that there will be plenty of votes for the House bill with the negotiated deal alone, with both caucuses losing a few individuals over the lack of linkage to the addition of sick days. The second bill may not get to the 60-vote cloture threshold. If Schumer’s smart, he’ll stage it in the same order Pelosi did. — Ed]
