“So many people go through life and they’ve never had to deal with their own issues – no matter what those issues are,” says Jenner, 65, in the sneak peek. “Ours happen to be about gender identity, but how many people go through life and waste an entire life because they never deal with themselves? To be who they are?”…

“You start learning [about] all the pressure that women are under all the time about their appearance,” she says, while applying lip gloss in front of a vanity. She also jokes that, for the first time, a professional had done her makeup not long before filming…

After hiding away in her Malibu compound for months following her coming out as transgender, I Am Cait follows Jenner going “out into the world. It’s so bright out here, look at that,” she says. “Isn’t it great that, maybe someday, [I’ll] be normal and blend into society?”

Her passenger prompts that Jenner is normal, to which Jenner responds, smiling, “Put it this way: I’m the new normal.”
