Tuesday TEMS: Andrew Malcolm, NC Rep. Jason Saine, Burgess Owens

Today on The Ed Morrissey Show (4 pm ET), we have another great lineup for the news of the day! The show will be streamed on Hot Air’s Facebook page and embedded here and on the show page for those who are not on Facebook. (If it’s muted, right-click the video and choose Unmute.) Join us as we welcome:

  • Andrew Malcolm joins us for Tuesdays with Andrew! The Prince of Twitter and I will discuss all of the hot political stories of the day. The biggest issue of age in this cycle, Andrew argues in his McClatchy DC column this week, has nothing to do with those of the candidates. Tune in to find out more!
  • The NCAA has pulled seven of its 2017 basketball championship events out of North Carolina over the HB2 bathroom bill. Rep. Jason Saine (R-Lincoln County) joins us to discuss the issue.
  • Super Bowl champion Burgess Owens, author of Liberalism, or How to Turn Good Men into Whiners, Weenies, and Wimps, wonders what happened to the NFL he used to know. “In the quest for team solidarity,” Owens writes today at Politichicks, “will there be courageous athletes who are willing to stand alone if necessary, for our Flag and against the uneducated and unappreciative PC Liberal group think?” We’ll find out more from Owens in this must-catch segment of TEMS this afternoon.

The Ed Morrissey Show and its dynamic chatroom can be seen on the permanent TEMS page. Be sure to join us, and don’t forget to keep up with the debate on my Facebook page, too!
