We return once again to the most-trafficked posts at Hot Air this year, courtesy of the web wizards and tech geeks who dove into the numbers to determine the most-viewed articles.  On Monday we listed 41-50, and yesterday 31-40. Today has plenty of recognizable controversies, including the Arizona lawsuit and the Ground Zero mosque, plus forgotten episodes like Tim Tebow’s supposed endorsement of domestic violence.  What wasn’t news?  Well, the fact that I couldn’t make a good Super Bowl prediction …

• #30: Zucker: Sorry for backing Boxer – Filmmaker David Zucker felt the need to atone, and when Zucker wants to atone, he also wants to entertain.  As senior editor and correspondent for Hot Air (don’t call me “blogger”!), I’m happy to endorse Zucker’s effort, and happier yet to see our friend Clint Howard as part of the cast.
• #29: Judge scoffs at pre-emption argument in AZ lawsuit – Unfortunately, this didn’t turn out to be a preview of Judge Susan Bolton’s ruling on the Arizona law that required state and local law enforcement to check immigration status of people in custody without proper identification.  She may have “scoffed,” but in the end she was convinced to overturn those portions of the law.  Now it’s up to the appellate court, and eventually the Supreme Court, and we’ll see who scoffs last.
• #28: Chris Christie to teacher: If you don’t like my education budget, find a new job – And some in the audience applauded.  It’s progress!
• #27: Dem county supervisor: Arizona’s law might have been justifiable if it was a border state – The county supervisor in question is from Milwaukee, so perhaps Wisconsin’s school system is to blame for poor geography education.  Why was a county supervisor in Wisconsin debating Arizona’s immigration-enforcement law?  That’s just as great a mystery.
• #26: Horror: Gametime Tebow ad features domestic violence! – This Super Bowl ad really made an impression — a ridiculous one — on people with no sense of humor.  When I saw it, I posted the video ASAP and predicted that Tebow, who had been a lightning rod for criticism after speaking openly about his Christian faith, would get criticized for making light of domestic violence … and I was right.  It was the only correct Super Bowl prediction I made that day.
• #25: Breaking: Michael Yon arrested at Seattle airport – And we still haven’t heard a good explanation of why.  But at least this is a good reminder for people to keep checking Michael Yon’s work.
• #24: Breitbart hits NAACP with promised video of racism – One of the most controversial episodes in the blogosphere this year, and one of the most embarrassing moments for a lot of people, including the White House.  It underscored the importance of getting the entire context before reaching to conclusions, for which I later apologized, and for which Andrew Breitbart later expressed his regrets as well.  It also ended up focusing attention on the Pigford settlements and some very questionable activity, a story which is still ongoing.
• #23: Breitbart to Bill Maher: You know you’re not a libertarian any more, right? – Does he?  Allahpundit isn’t sure he does.  The video is must-see, but AP’s analysis is even better.
• #22: NYT: ObamaCare may have accidentally stripped Congress of health coverage – One of a series of unintended consequences resulting from writing the bill in a back room, bypassing the committee process, and then jamming 2800 pages of a bill no one has read down the throats of Republicans so we can all see what’s in it after it passes.  This was more Schadenfreude-tastic than the other unintended consequences, and I’m sure it was the first one fixed, too.
• #21: Greg Gutfeld: I’m raising money to build a Muslim gay bar next to the Ground Zero mosque – The comedy on this story reached its zenith when the GZM organizers complained that the location of a gay bar next to their location would not foster dialogue and openness.   That was the point made by those opposed to the GZM in the first place.
