Kirk Bangstad, the owner of Minocqua Brewing Company and bigshot in the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, caught a lot of flak for his post decrying the poor marksmanship of the failed Trump assassin, and promised free beer for everyone on the day that Trump is killed or dies.
Well, he caught flak from Republicans and a few Democrats, though the friends he has, including Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin, have remained silent, despite the uproar.
HOLY CR*P 🚨 This brewery called Minocqua Brewing Company in Wisconsin upset that Donald Trump didn’t get assassinated tonight is owned by Kirk Bangstad

The Chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party DID condemn Bangstad, and we will have to see whether there is follow through—Bangstad is something of a bigwig in the party, and his brewpub is a favorite hangout for local Democrats.

This brewery is owned by a man named Kirk Bangstad, and he’s not just some random crazy guy. Kirk is friends with current Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Francesca Hong. He previously employed Rebecca Cooke, the Democrat currently running against Derrick Van Orden, and was himself the Democratic nominee against my father-in-law, Sean Duffy, in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District—where I am now running for office.
I repeat: Kirk is not fringe. His views are mainstream among Wisconsin progressives. It’s time to start admitting that leftism is inherently violent, that this isn’t a “both sides” issue, and that radical Marxism must be rooted out of our institutions—especially our school system—immediately.
Bangstad himself says that the uproar over his comments is good for business and that any Democrat condemning his comments is a wimp. Which, I suppose, reflects the position of all those people who purchase his merchandise that hopes for Trump's death.
"Leave it to the Corporate Dems and politically naive Democratic gubernatorial candidates to take the bate (sic) and condemn 'political violence' or 'politically violent rhetoric' after the 3rd questionably/arguable fake assassination attempt against Trump," Bangstad wrote in the post sharing the Journal Sentinel story.
Bangstad also provided tips to Democrats if the Journal Sentinel "backs you into a corner and makes you 'agree' with Republican rhetoric that 'libs are violent' given this arguably fake assassination attempt?"
Bangstad's Minocqua Brewing Company opened about a decade ago and is known for selling politics-themed beers. The releases include Tammy Shandy, Evers Ale and Mandela Mash, referring to Democrats U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Gov. Tony Evers and former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is running for governor in 2026.
The brewing company in Wisconsin is now doubling down on offering free beer to celebrate when Trump dies

Obviously, Bangstad knows that this is good for business, since he has been pushing the "Free Beer Day" upon Trump's death for quite a while now, including selling T-shirts about it.
His customers eat it up, and all the Democrats who are now denouncing him have been happy to have his money flowing into Democrat coffers.
The thing is...Bangstad's reasons for wanting Trump dead are just mainstream Democrat talking points. He sounds not much different from Tim Walz, who joked about Trump's death on the campaign trail. It's pretty standard stuff, and only notable right after another deranged Democrat tries to kill Trump once again.
Jimmy Kimmel can go on national TV and wish Trump dead, so why not make a business out of it?
Reminder that Hasan Piker publicly advocated for President Trump’s assassination

There's plenty of demand, so why not capitalize on it? There is a large fraction of the Democratic Party who are willing to tell pollsters that political violence is just fine, and that killing Trump would be justified.
It just makes sense to market to these people, right?
Editor’s Note: The American people overwhelmingly support President Trump’s law and order agenda.
