Benghazi vs. Ishfahan

I have been, frankly, gobsmacked by the left's reaction to the miraculous return of our brave F-15 WSO over the past couple of days.

I wasn't surprised to find that many on the left would root for Iran to capture or kill our airman, but I frankly was that they were so open about it, and so dismissive of the efforts we made to save him and our willingness to risk so many lives and spend so much money for one airman.

The not-so-secret wish that Iran would pull off a propaganda coup was simple TDS and hence predictable. The churlishness about our success was another thing entirely.

Already, I have seen liberal accounts describe our efforts to defend the WSO as he waited for rescue as a war crime. I'm not kidding. Because we created a 3-kilometer buffer zone around him using airpower, killing anybody who entered the no-go zone, they claim that this was indiscriminate killing.

No innocent civilians were rushing to the top of a ridge. They were either chasing the $60,000 reward or they were Basij. Why do you think there was a massive firefight?

I shouldn't have been surprised, though. I should have remembered Benghazi, where the White House directed the US military, against their strenuous objections,  to abandon Americans to a Libyan mob.

Our ambassador, Christopher Stephens, was murdered and paraded through the city, because the Democrats think leaving Americans to be mutilated by savages is a small price to pay.

The difference between the Trump Administration and the Obama Administration is now abundantly clear.

When Americans are in trouble Trump will move heaven and earth.

Obama/Hillary didn't lift a finger. They abandoned our men and women serving in Libya.

Which America do you want to be a part of?

The reaction to Operation Epic Fury stands in stark contrast to the Democrats' reaction to Obama and Clinton's fun adventure in Libya. The Democrats insisted that the president needed no authorization, were thrilled at a bombing campaign that left Libya a failed state, and Hillary Clinton didn't even express sorrow at the death of her friend and colleague.

What difference does it make?

All the difference in the world, Hillary. All the difference in the world.

Editor's note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
