CNN Allows Claim That President Was Part of 'Global Sex Trafficking Ring' Until Scott Jennings Challenges

CNN is trash. It is not a news network at all, and should be sued into oblivion.

On the panel discussion with Abby Philip, a young and impulsive Democrat "analyst" twice accused President Donald Trump of being a participant in a global sex trafficking ring, and CNN almost let the claim slide.  In fact, the host of the panel tried to pivot away from the claim until Scott Jennings pinned him down.

A smug, barely-out-of-college leftist activist wandered onto CNN and accused a sitting president of running a global human sx-trafficking ring — 𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

⁣⁣⁣CNN just let it sit there. You could almost imagine Trump picking up the phone to his lawyers.

⁣⁣⁣Until Scott Jennings — 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 — slammed the brakes and reminded the room that 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.

⁣⁣⁣If Scott Jennings hadn’t stepped in, that clip would already be Exhibit A in a courtroom.

⁣⁣⁣This is what happens when activism cosplay replaces journalism.

⁣⁣⁣This is why adults still need to be in the room.

⁣⁣⁣And this is why “𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬” is not a journalism standard.

This is not journalism. This is not even remotely responsible. This is, in fact, propaganda and defamation, and the only reason why John Berman even conceded that the claim was questionable is that Scott Jennings called him on it. 

Abby Philip regularly disputes any criticism, however fair, of Democrats, but John Berman was willing to allow a defamatory comment just sit there and even distract from it until he was called on it. 

1. You knew exactly what you were doing.
2. You did it intentionally.
3. This weak walk back isn’t fooling anyone & doesn’t absolve you of any legal jeopardy.
4. You only put this out because of real fear that you & your employer will be sued.

Cameron Kasky's accusation was clearly pre-planned, though he has since—on X, where no liberals will see it—apologized and claimed he said it by accident. 

Yeah, right. This is called legal ass covering.

Watch that exchange. Did he say that by accident? Twice? 

Yeah, uh, no. The whole point was to drop it on TV, apologize online and in writing, where it has much less impact. 

Some people are giving CNN credit for admitting that Trump has "not been charged," as if that is sufficient. But I don't. Scott Jennings had to push hard to even get that, and it wasn't even weak tea. Pathetic.

CNN has to bring on lefties like Cameron, put him up against dishonest leftists like Abby Philip, because he is so much better and smarter than everybody else on that panel. They want to rattle him because he is unrattleable. 

It's a tactic that doesn't work with moderates or conservatives, but it fires up the base, which is the point.
