Americans are, and with good reason, very sensitive about discussing any topic that touches on race.
No, scratch that. The left is filled with people who use our fraught history of racial discrimination to bludgeon people into silence on any number of issues that could be, even tangentially, related to racial disparities.
Until recently, the people who are constantly attacked for being racists or white supremacists have been cowed because we don't want to be tarred as racists.
The taboo is breaking down, now that accusations about racism are as common as grains of sand on a beach. Since we can't avoid being called racists, we are no longer scared of calling it like it is, and unfortunately, some, like Nick Fuentes, seem to revel in dropping racial slurs and accusations, but that is a topic for another day.

Somalis have not one, but three units of "oppression" in the oppression Olympics, and they and their advocates are trying to use every advantage they have to push back on people noticing that they have been terrible guests in our country. They are "migrants," they are black, and they are Muslim.
Obviously, they are the oppressed, and we are the oppressors.

These oppression points have worked to their advantage for years. Somalis have brought with them all the ills of their home country, and in many cases, they are quite proud to have imported their failed culture to Minnesota. Far from acculturating, they have, as a group if not in all individual cases, found that Minnesotans are sheep and they are happy to be wolves. But we have not been able to point any of this out because it is "racist" to do so.

As the fraud that has been officially uncovered tops a billion dollars (and that is just the tip of the iceberg), and people are speaking openly now about the sexual predation of Somalis with less fear, the liberal elite has gone into overdrive to rehabilitate the reputation of the Somalis.

At least we are told so. Over the past few days, politician after politician has been repeating the mantra that Somalis are part of the "fabric of our state," and it is racist to notice that they have been uniquely capable of ripping off the taxpayers and sending a portion of their ill-gotten gains to terrorist groups in Somalia.

I can understand why. She has deep connections in the Somali community, and they are one of the most powerful voting blocs in the Twin Cities region. Plus, as you can understand, there is gold in them there hills now.

I don't think that Somalis have been horrible for Minnesota because they are black; it's because they are Somalis, who emigrated from a failed culture and brought that culture with them. Somalia is a total disaster, rivaling Yemen, yet refugees from Somalia (many of whom are members of clans that actively participate in the violence back home and fund it from here), yet Minnesota politicians pretend that their "diversity" is our strength.

It is striking that the endorsement for the Mayor of Minneapolis, which originally went to Somali Omar Fateh, had to be voided due to...fraud. It is striking that fraud and violence are now common at Democratic Party endorsing conventions because Somalis have brought their culture here.
The Democrats all shilling for the Somalis may be right that they have become part of the 'fabric" of Minnesota, but if so, the fabric is getting very frayed. At least when it comes to Democratic party politics.

The Democrats here are very much in a bind, and it is not just their ideological commitment to intersectional politics. The Somalis have captured Minneapolis. They are organized, and very politically savvy. Ilhan Omar has proven to be stronger than the Democratic establishment, and top officials have collaborated in the fraud schemes that have blown up.

Walz and Attorney Keith Ellison expect to escape legal consequences for their collaboration with the fraud, and believe that they can ride out the political consequences. Chances are, they are right. It's not like Democratic voters care. All of this information was out there long ago, and Kamala Harris chose Walz to be the next Vice President of the United States.

Anybody who cared knew all about this for years. The fraud was exposed by the US Attorney years ago. The local media ignored it. The national media ignored it. The Democratic Party here in Minnesota was in on it.

They openly offered financial support for "elected officials that are interested in protecting communities of color" and complained about unfair state scrutiny of their nonprofits and restaurants. Ellison, in turn, said he was "here to help.""
Now the Democrats are rallying around the Somali community. Their fates are tied together, for good or ill.
So expect a lot more accusations of white supremacy against anybody willing to speak up.
