By now you probably have read that Western news organizations had photographers embedded with the Hamas terrorists who committed the atrocities of 10/7.
More specifically, the “journalists” involved were stringers–not specifically employed by the organization, but regular contributors who even have gotten bylines as if the outlets employed them. Many of the photographs you have seen–those not taken by Hamas killers themselves–were taken by these “journalists” and published.
It has put these news organizations in something of a bind, being exposed this way. After all, if the “journalists” were embedded with the terrorists or had prior notice of what was coming. They knew it was coming and tagged along to cover it. In a way they were participants, and they certainly were willingly engaged in spreading propaganda. It was why Hamas wanted them along.
1. Was @CNN notified by this person that the #October7massacre will occur?
2. Why didn’t he notify any Israeli or American security agencies ahead of the attack? Many American citizens were kidnapped or murdered.
3. Hamas is a terror group per the U.S. government. If he had… pic.twitter.com/ZlLoQ5f4JU

As a matter of fact, since our company uses photographs licensed from the Associated Press we have unwittingly published photographs by these terrorist accomplices. If you want to get photographs relevant to news stories, it is almost impossible to get them without using the Associated Press. That is what the Associated Press does–write and aggregate news and distribute it, since no single news outlet can have reporters everywhere all the time.
Most national and international news relies on AP reports. You think NBC has reporters covering every corner of the globe or every small town in America? Even the biggest news outlets can’t put reporters everywhere. So there is the Associated Press.
But in places like Gaza (or Iraq during Saddam’s time, or Iran now, or any place that is dangerous) the AP and the few outlets who report directly from such places use local stringers–freelancers who get paid to provide news.
You are rarely told that these “reports” come from “journalists” who are more likely than not approved, vetted, or even employed by the ruling powers or groups in these regions. We aren’t getting news, but highly censored propaganda.
🚨CNN/AP Journalist Hassan Eslaiah embedded with Hamas reported live as they slaughtered and kidnaped Israelis October 7th.
He was with Hamas as they broke the barrier fence and destroyed an Israel tank, and presumably kidnapped 3 Israeli soldiers.
He is then reported live from… pic.twitter.com/28pOPvuQnE

CNN, upon being exposed for paying and using the propaganda of a Hamas supporter–see the photo of the “journalist” getting kissed by the local leader of Hamas, temporarily cut ties with him. They haven’t said they won’t use him again, and insist that his “journalism” was sound (of course), but they want the controversy to die down.
Dead Man Walking.

During and after the first Gulf War CNN was the only Western news outlet in Baghdad, which was a point of pride. They also let Saddam Hussein’s lackeys dictate what they reported and admitted so long after it failed to matter. For years they served as Saddam’s mouthpiece, calling their propaganda “news.” So it goes today.

The Associated Press’ office in Gaza was, for years, shared with Hamas itself.
Shared offices. And when this was revealed the AP was shocked, SHOCKED! to discover this fact.
Shocked I tell you. I guess they aren’t exactly good at their jobs, then. Or they knew and were fine with it. You decide.

Now I am not naive enough to believe that reporting from a war zone won’t be censored, both for operational reasons and propaganda purposes. Of course it is.
But you have to draw the line somewhere and tell people what the limits are, as so often happens when journalists are embedded with Western troops. You are told that there are censored facts, just not what they are.
Let's face it. Orgs like CNN, NYT, AP, and Reuters are straight up forbidden by Hamas from sending their own reporters into Gaza, and are reduced to hiring "freelancers" from a handpicked Hamas "press pool."
At this point it isn't an extraordinary claim that these local…

In places like Gaza, though, newspapers like the New York Times will employ actual Nazis and defend them as journalists. An American with a red hat is beyond the pale, but a Nazi who celebrates Hitler and openly calls for the genocide of Jews is a reliable journalist.
NEW: The New York Times has rehired a reporter who has a history of publicly praising Adolf Hitler.
Soliman Hijjy, a Palestinian reporter, has contributed 9 articles for the New York Times since the Israel-Hamas war began.
Back in 2018, Hijjy took to Facebook to voice his… pic.twitter.com/swz2lRN56q

The Times doesn’t apologize. They informed the journalist–who has bylines in the Times covering this very war–not to post messages on Twitter approving of Hitler. It looks bad.
A Times spokesperson defended the outlet’s decision to rehire Hijjy.
“We reviewed problematic social media posts by Mr. Hijjy when they first came to light in 2022 and took a variety of actions to ensure he understood our concerns and could adhere to our standards if he wished to do freelance work for us in the future,” the rep said.
…
“Mr. Hijjy followed those steps and has maintained high journalistic standards. He has delivered important and impartial work at great personal risk in Gaza during this conflict.”
Unsuprisingly the New York Times is sticking by its “journalist” who was embedded with Hamas–remember, in that video above he is filming himself sharing a motorcycle ride with a Hamas terrorist carrying a grenade–and saying he was just doing his job. So is the Nazi they are employing. A literal Nazi.

This is from a newspaper in which the entire newsroom erupted for publishing an Op/Ed from a US Senator, claiming it made the reporters “unsafe” to have words they disagree with printed.
Nazis yes. US Senators no. That is the New York Times.
As I wrote on Tuesday, the media really is the “enemy of the people.”
They are little more than propaganda outlets, utterly unconcerned with the truth.
