Gang of Eighters Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, and Lindsey Graham will be on CBS, NBC, and CNN, respectively, so expect a whole lotta amnesty drivel this morning in anticipation of the coming backlash during the August recess. Skip that and stick with Fox’s and ABC’s line-ups on the “surveillance versus privacy” debate instead. ABC will have Peter King and Glenn Greenwald on; Fox will have Michael Hayden and Justin Amash. It’s not clear if they’ll be appearing sequentially or in tandem for a true debate, but if it’s the latter, hoo boy. The King/Greenwald segment in particular would be a momentous punch-up.
If none of that appeals to you, Paul Ryan will be on CBS to explain why Obama’s “grand bargain” on the new budget is crapola. And, of course, to do a little amnesty-boosting of his own. The full schedule is at Politico.
