Back in February, a lower-income, working-class area in England called Gorton and Denton had to hold a by-election because they'd lost their member of Parliament (MP). Long having been a Labour stronghold, this would have seemed like the perfect opportunity for Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham to pick up that MP seat he needed to challenge Sir Keir Starmer for the prime minister's job. The only fly in the ointment was that Starmer was still PM and blocked Burnham from running, so Labour had to cast about for a suitable sub in what should have been an easy pick-up.
'Should,' being the operative word. In the years that Labour had easily held the seat, the demographics had shifted to where the constituency now had an overall Muslim population of 30%, but some of the areas within it ran as high as 60%. This was now a different animal than the British working-class place it had been and the active party of Greens within saw an opportunity opening for their peculiar method of outreach to minority communities who have large voting blocks.
...Starmer, unpopular enough on his own already, had further irritated members of his own party when the seat became available by blocking the popular Labour mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, from running for the parliamentary seat. That forced the party local to cast about for a suitable substitute.
In the meantime, Nigel Farage's Reform candidate was feeling confident and, of all things, the Green Party nominee, a 34-year-old plumber named Hannah Spencer, was out campaigning among the locals, dancing to Palestinian jihadi anthems ('My Blood is Palestinian'), as Greens are wont to do.
The Green Party candidate won. Not only because she was a winsome, dancin' young thing, but because she, much like the mayor-apparent Berlin communist in my first story this morning, slept with the snakes.
In the United Kingdom, what are claimed to be Islamic 'cultural norms' are tolerated far more easily than ever they would be here - at least for now. And that cultural group takes full advantage of it, pushing British law and polite society to its limits.
In this instance, both Starmer and Farage were crying foul over something known as 'family voting,' as a phenomenon absolutely foreign to us here.
It's where Islamic family members literally pile into a voting booth, and a male member will most usually wind up directing how the female or females vote.
It's technically illegal, but hey! Who needs rules when you're talking family, m'kay?
And you're racist if you point out that you take issue with their cultural differences, which worked out great for the Greens.
🇬🇧 Democracy Volunteers, an accredited UK election observer group, reported unusually high levels of "family voting" during the Gorton and Denton by-election. The practice was observed in 68% (15 of 22 sampled) of stations, affecting 12% of observed voters. Family voting refers to illegal collusion or direction between voters, breaching ballot secrecy, often Muslim men forcing their wives and daughters to vote on sectarian lines. John Ault, Director of Democracy Volunteers said: ''We have seen the highest levels of family voting at any election in our 10-year history of observing elections in the UK.” Follow: @europa

And, SURPRISE!
Nothing came of it.
We do have our issues here, as you are all so aware, with 'cultural differences' being used as the excuse to hijack the American way of life, instead of assimilating to it.
But as we're not quite as far gone as the Brits...yet...these communities of well-established scammers, confidence men, and fraud masters have to do their ballot manipulation in a way that prevents hackles from being raised and suspicious eyes from being trained on what's going down at the polling station.
I'd have to guess that this has been happening for years and years without too much attention, mainly because Americans are inherently polite people who don't normally get all up in other people's business.
But now, thanks to stunning fraudulent activities that have painted some ethnic communities in a pretty bad light, people are paying attention.
The Minneapolis and Minnesota Somali community is under the largest scrutiny because their taxpayer tab has been just staggering, but there are other pockets of Horn of Africa immigrants, and they have their own well-established grifts going. Especially Maine.
In September of 2025, I did a piece on taxpayer supported 'Bantu farming' and a rip-roaring Medicaid scheme tearing through millions last December. All of these (and many, many more) have been exposed by the indefatigable folks at The Maine Wire and their editor-in-chief, Steve Robinson.

Has such a ring to it, doesn't it?
Welp, right in time for the midterms, Robinson and his crew have uncovered the American version of 'family voting' - 'translators.'
Ostensibly available to help poor asylum seekers who, supposedly, after being here for perhaps decades and even after becoming citizens, still cannot speak a word of the King's English or are simply illiterate. The poor innocents need help doing their Election Day duty.
Oh, how nice! Conveniently, there is a fellow standing by to assist.
Hundreds of Somalians in Maine are guided to the polls by “translators” who help them vote and often appear to be filling out the ballots themselves: https://t.co/QZjeVRYWYv

Who kind of looks like he's doing the whole thing for them.
This was all documented in the town of Lewiston, a city of 40,000 with a Somali population of around 6,000. That works out to about 15%, so Somalis make up a healthy chunk of the locals.
To no one's surprise, but hopefully to their ire, left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are 'providing' the translators who have been caught on video being so helpful. So, besides the possible fraudulent voting, your tax dollars are paying the guy doing it.
The Department of Justice is investigating CCTV video from Lewiston City Hall that appears to show dozens of instances of NGO workers — operating as “interpreters” — coaching illiterate Somalis on how to vote and even filling out ballots for them.
The shocking footage was obtained by The Maine Wire under the Freedom of Access Act and shows left-wing NGOs running an industrial-scale ballot stuffing scheme, using non-English-speaking migrants to obtain ballots and then instructing them on how to vote a party line ticket for Democrats.
“We review all evidence concerning complaints of voter intimidation and election interference, including the video from Lewiston’s early voting at City Hall,” U.S. Attorney for Maine Andrew Benson told The Robinson Report.
“We will not tolerate threats to the integrity of our elections, and we look forward to working with the Attorney General’s Office and the Secretary of State’s office to defend our democracy,” said Benson.
When videos and images showing irregular behavior by the alleged Somali translators first went viral last week, Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline quickly moved to block photojournalists from documenting the violations election officials would later disrupt multiple times.
This one example TMW caught is exceptionally egregious. The woman who requires a 'translator' to cast her ballot has a sprightly conversation in English with the poll watcher before going in to vote.
Somali voter has a friendly chat with the election warden in English, then calls over a "translator" who clearly violates procedure by handling the ballot. Oh, and this "translator" is the former finance minister of Jubaland, Somalia: https://t.co/SPAp6wHIlM

And there's that 'Jubaland' again.
It's like living in a foreign country.
It was only after TMW submitted a FOIA request and got over 140 hours of video Robinson calls 'so tawdry it would make Boss Tweed blush' that the election supervisor handed out 'how to behave at an election' sheets to the Somali NGOs.
Oh, gosh. I'll bet THAT helps.
...Under Maine law, voters may request a translator, but there are strict rules as to what aides can and cannot do when it comes to assisting voters. Translators are not allowed to offer assistance but must wait until assistance is requested, and they are not allowed to influence voters’ choices. The translators are not allowed to mark up a ballot, and they cannot approach or interrupt a voter who is already in the booth.
As is evident from the CCTV video, virtually every one of these rules was violated over and over again by a small cadre of political activists who can be seen shepherding illiterate Somali voters through the ballot-casting process.
After the national attention on voting irregularities in Lewiston, the city clerk began disseminating a printout informing the Somali NGO staffers of the rules.
There is also a litany of violations in the article that are just amazing, but absolutely what you'd expect.
As is the entrenched enabling and indifference of the local Democrat establishment.
What we see as cultural differences so in conflict with the treasured values and civilized norms we cherish that we simply can't tolerate the thought, progressive Democrats see as a community of spiritual kin that they'll nurture and protect.
And those votes come back in return.
How could they not?
