One week ago, the hate-filled, hateful flag of the mythical country of 'Palestine' was raised over St. Andrew's House, the Scottish government headquarters in Edinburgh.
It was the culmination of a relentless campaign of haranguing and agitation carried on by the radicals who populate the Scottish National Party (SNP), the ruling, uber-progressive party that has governed Scotland ruinously since 2007.
Their current leader, one of their long-time party operatives, and now First Minister of Scotland, is a man named John Swinney. He replaced the scandal-plagued racist Humza Yousaf, who in turn replaced the scandal-plagued tiny terror Nicola Sturgeon.
Sturgeon seems to have just been your run-of-the-mill woke/climate cult mess with a light-fingered husband to boot. Between encouraging everything transgender to covering the formerly beautiful Scottish countryside with windmills, the police tossing her home and arresting her husband over hundreds of thousands of missing pounds in SNP campaign cash was a bridge too far for her to keep her job. She had high hopes of a UN or WEF gig anyway.
Yousaf was a whole 'nother ball of ugly wax. Woke as Sturgeon, but racist to his very core, especially against WHITE men - which is a damned inconvenient way to live if you're the leader of a country that is *checks notes* 96% WHITE FOLKS.
Lemme refresh your memory as far as just how much WHITE MEN irritate the piss out of Yousaf.
In Scotland we have a new Hate Crime Bill coming into effect, championed by this complete idiot and expert in hate speech. Yet, he can have us arrested for wrong speak, even in our own homes. Peak insanity continues in real time. 🤡🌍 pic.twitter.com/4V43JMIfEX

Yousaf also championed repressive 'hate crime' legislation while First Minister, which caught the attention of a notable Scottish resident who immediately challenged the constitutionality of the proposed legislation.
J.K. Rowling had a sincere case of 'Come at me, bro' after Yousaf threatened to lock her up for her unfiltered speech on trans issues. He then had his nose shoved severely out of joint when his name received far more hate speech complaints in the first few days than anything she'd said.
Humza Yousaf’s defence of his own hate crime bill is so inconsistent that even the BBC are easily highlighting its flaws.

According to Humza, anyone who reported his own racist speech is part of the “far right”.

What a pretentious buffoon.
Several more fumbled public spectacles - not the least of which was his advocating for Palestinian refugees like his in-laws to find asylum in Scotland - and a collapsed coalition later, and Yousaf resigned.
THERE WAS MUCH REJOICING
Swinney took over a year ago, in May, and almost immediately had a rocky start to it, losing many of their SNP general election Parliament seats in the Tory wipe-out that brought Labour and Keir Starmer into power. Scottish Labour is now the largest party representing Scottish constituencies in Westminster.
That hasn't slowed Swinney's leftist tilt down at all, and last Wednesday, he was in full-blown progressive glory, virtue-signaling over Palestinian issues and the war in Gaza instead of doing the people's business. Swinney announced that, thanks to the 'genocide' in Gaza, the Scottish government would be enforcing what amounted to an aid and arms embargo on Israel.
...John Swinney was yesterday accused of ignoring Scotland’s problems in favour of virtue signalling about Gaza.
The First Minister said he could not ignore warnings that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government was behind a ‘genocide’ in Gaza.
He announced the SNP was ditching its long-running policy of denying public cash to defence firms making ‘munitions’ in light of growing global uncertainty.
But firms selling material to Israel would remain ineligible for support.
‘In the face of genocide, there can be no business as usual,’ he said.
He was accused by pro-Israel groups of indulging in ‘pure gesture politics’ that will make no difference to the situation in the Middle East.
As if it meant something, Swinney quoted the International Court of Clowns for good measure, who are wholly and completely impartial, as we all know.
...He said the Scottish Government ‘cannot ignore’ the International Court of Justice’s warning of a ‘prima facie case of genocide in Gaza’.
I can only assume he's chosen to be contrary in a snit, because even Keir Starmer, desperate as he is to make nice with the Muslims, has come to a very different conclusion.
Israel not committing genocide in Gaza, says UK government

England has declared there is 'no genocide' in Gaza. It's a warzone and ugly things happen.
...A letter from new Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said the government has concluded Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza but "must do much more" to prevent and alleviate the suffering.
Written last week, when he was foreign secretary, but published on Tuesday, Mr Lammy wrote that "the crime of genocide occurs only where there is specific 'intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group.'
"The government has not concluded that Israel is acting with that intent."
Never one to let facts get between them and good performative theater, the SNP leader went ahead and cut Israel off from whatever goods and services they receive from Scotland and then decided to add that last little twist of the knife.
He had the Palestinian flag raised over St Andrew's House as he called on Starmer to recognize the Palestinian state. But no worries, he assured Scottish Jews, I love you guys, too.
...The First Minister called on the UK Government to recognise the state of Palestine on an unconditional and ‘irreversible’ basis and pull out of a free trade deal with Israel and ban the import of goods from ‘illegal settlements’.
As a Palestinian flag was flown over the Scottish Government’s HQ, he said he ‘utterly rejected anti-Semitism and all forms of racism and hatred’ and had this week reassured Jewish leaders of his respect for their ‘valued and cherished community in Scotland’.
The racist, hate-speech advocating former First Minister thought that was a swell idea and took to gloating on social media.
Today Scotland raises the Palestinian flag outside our Government building, St Andrew's House.

Alongside a series of tangible measures announced today, we are showing our solidarity with the people of Gaza in the face of a horrific genocide.

They're so pathetically predictable.

...Dissociating themselves from the history of colonialism and slavery, our elites now chase atonement by romanticizing the "other" while scapegoating allies like Israel.
One would figure that a government-sanctioned anti-Semitic flag being flown over a government building would upset Jewish members of the community, and, well, it did. Internationally, even.
...Jewish Americans have deluged each Scottish MSP with 700 emails overnight, railing against the controversial decision to fly the Palestinian flag over the Scottish government’s headquarters at St Andrew’s House.
In an unprecedented wave of international criticism, the inboxes of 129 Scottish MSPs were flooded with emails from Jewish communities — mostly from the United States — accusing the SNP of “vilifying the victim” after John Swinney’s pro-Palestinian stance in parliament this week.
Scottish Jews politely - and what a mistake - chastised Swinney.
...On Thursday Scotland’s Jewish community criticised Swinney’s position as “irresponsible”.
In a letter, they said: “It is equally beyond debate that both Israel and Hamas bear responsibility for this tragic situation. For you to assert as first minister of Scotland that Israel is engaged in a genocidal campaign against Palestinians, however, would, in our view, be irresponsible.”
I will tell you what it means.

It means that the @thesnp are absolutely clueless and are putting the lives of Israeli's living in Scotland at risk.
The majority of Scots do not vote SNP and we do not support raising that flag. pic.twitter.com/PpnalJWLtX
And in an echo of what is happening all over the UK, the Scottish saltire - their national flag with St Andrew's cross on an azure background - has begun popping up all over the country in bold displays of Scottish national pride.
Well. You'll never guess who all that flying the Scottish national flag has pissed off.
The Saltire doesn't belong to one group, it belongs to us all. It's a symbol that welcomes all who call Scotland their home, not a symbol to try and shut people out.

We can't afford to be passive, we need to mobilise & confront the forces of hatred that are trying to divide us. pic.twitter.com/lheYHxJgOe
Ooooh, he's madder than a wet hate hornet.
Ruined his day, you have, with all that blue and white. All those proggie knickers in a twist.
Hopefully see more saltires 🏴 and Lion Rampant's (Royal Standards) at Ibrox alongside the Union Flag 🇬🇧

Time to reclaim our flag.
