Trans athletes, ESPN, and AL's Gov Kay Ivey off the top rope!

Samantha “Sam” Ponder is probably one of the most gorgeous but least trinkety chicks ESPN has working for them. She is also intelligent as well as pretty plain spoken, as is her beautiful network mate, Sage Steele and former co-worker, Charly Arnolt.

The women have quietly started voicing their opinions about certain goings-on in the wide, wide world of sports that they find distinctly unfair and completely unworthy of celebration.

In April, Arnolt left the network for rival OutKick, when a Women’s Month celebration of trans swimmer Lia Thomas was the straw that broke the camel’s back for her.

Ex-ESPN reporter Charly Arnolt has slammed her former employer for purportedly contradicting their ‘no politics’ rule – a month after the network aired a tribute to transgender swimmer Lia Thomas during Women’s Month.

Arnolt announced earlier this week that she was leaving the Worldwide Leader for OutKick, and spoke to Fox News about her problems with her previous company – where she felt ‘stifled’ and ‘uncomfortable’ due to the company’s culture.

‘ESPN has been very adamant about keeping politics out of their programming, yet you just saw, late last month, they did a whole tribute, during Women’s Month, for Lia Thomas,’ Arnolt said, via the NY Post.

…’I think there’s a lot of women who are uncomfortable about standing up for women’s rights because they don’t want to be considered politically incorrect, because it’s really crazy where this world and this conversation has gone,’ Arnolt said later on.

Sage Steele, still at the network, made it quite clear where she stood on the issue when Riley Gaines excoriated ESPN over the Thomas special.

Sam backed Sage up on the same Riley Gaines tweet, and then followed up with this a week ago.

The poo hit the fan thanks to an overheated USA Today writer named Nancy Armour, who decided Ponder’s stance was…bigotry. Not content to keep that frankly ludicrous thought to herself, Armour wrote a flaming, virtue signaling op-ed for her paper.

What ESPN’s Sam Ponder calls ‘fairness’ is plain old bigotry

Don’t be fooled by the people who screech about “fairness” to cloak their bigotry toward transgender girls and women, the transgender girls and women who have the audacity to want to play sports, in particular.

This is, and always was, about hate, fear and ignorance.

ESPN’s Samantha Ponder is the latest to tell on herself, using a tweet by anti-trans activist Riley Gaines to “fight for the integrity of Title IX” and then patting herself on the back for her “support” of women’s sports.

“I barely said anything publicly abt this issue & I’ve had so many ppl msg me, stop me in the street to say thank you+ tell me stories abt girls who are afraid to speak up for fear of lost employment/being called hateful. It is not hateful to demand fairness in sports for girls,” Ponder wrote Thursday.

Ponder’s quest for fairness is, unsurprisingly, a sham.

…Dig a little deeper into Ponder’s timeline, and it’s clear her hostility toward transgender women goes far beyond their participation in sports. In January, she replied, “Yes. Thank you.” to Megyn Kelly’s screed about a transgender woman going to the gynecologist.

“You can’t just become (a woman) and take all of our things,” Kelly ranted.

I’m at a loss as to how a transgender woman going to a gynecologist takes anything away from anyone, or how it’s any of Kelly or Ponder’s business. Unless you are someone who wants to see the transgender community marginalized out of existence, that is.

Which, given the cesspool of transphobic tweets Ponder has liked, she appears to be.

She seems nice…LIKE A RABID RACCOON.

Sage Steele immediately went to war for her colleague…

…and, in the huge ratio the story’s tweet got, Riley Gaines came out swinging against Armour’s vile diatribe.

But it hasn’t stopped the vicious attacks against Sam Ponder for speaking truth to fabulism. The mainstream types are doing their level best to beat down this WOMAN CENTRIC insurrection as furiously as they can. There can and will be no breaks in the Woke Wall, so release the hounds.

Multiple mainstream media journalists joined USA Today sports columnist Nancy Armour in trashing ESPN broadcaster Samantha Ponder for calling out biological men competing in women’s sports.

Reporters, like USA Today’s sports journo Lindsay Schnell, dogpiled on Ponder after she was accused of promoting “bigotry” for demanding fairness in women’s sports.

Schnell made a particularly wild argument, claiming that if trans women (biological males) have an unfair advantage over female athletes, then NBA star LeBron James has an unfair advantage over the professional male basketball players he competes against.

“Reporters.” Man, it just doesn’t mean what it used to, does it? Staggers the brain.

Okay, “reporter” – just like LeBron lemme use a cartoon for ya, moron.

Meanwhile, as ESPN pontificates about keeping the “politics” out of sports, while making sure they keep the “politics” in sports through their specials and slanted reporting, something was happening in the state of Alabama’s legislature. Another important piece in a nationwide movement toward banning trans athletes from competing in any other category than that of their birth sex.

ESPN has #TheTransSadz

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey on Tuesday signed legislation that will ban transgender women from playing on female sports teams in college, becoming the latest state to place restrictions on transgender athletes.

The legislation expands the state’s existing 2021 ban on transgender athletes on K-12 sports teams to include college teams. Students assigned one sex at birth would be prohibited from playing under a different gender identity, even after undergoing hormone treatment.

Because, as everyone is supposed to believe, The Trans Science™ means hormones are the magic wand that *woosh swish woosh* make your a girl!

In what was just a masterstroke, Gov Ivey set them straight.

ESPN is on the mat – Gov. Ivey off the top rope with the takedown!
