That Red Cross "Maps for Migrants" idea is pretty swell, no?

What a clever idea those corporate do-gooders in red and white had! Now, I have had a personal beef with the Red Cross for over 40 years and have refused to give them a dime ever since (with that decision subsequently reinforced time and again by the RC’s own actions), but I can see where people could still think they might be a worthy organization.

This sort of action by a revered and federally sanctioned American “charity” is kind of mind-blowing though, and well done Daily Caller breaking the story.

The American Red Cross has maps and guides for migrants to make the dangerous journeys to the U.S.-Mexico border, according to documents exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The map, which is part of a packet stamped with the International Committee of the Red Cross and American Red Cross logos, shows a list of resources, including hotels, clinics and shelters where migrants can get support in Mexico and Central America. The maps include clearly defined lines leading to cities along the U.S. border. The organization also has a guide to “self care” along the journey, which includes tips on how to survive the desert and disease, how to safely jump on trains, and how to obtain contraceptives.

Looks pretty dang detailed.

Well, how thoughtful! And pretty thorough. Of course, they’ve had one-hundred-plus years of organizing disaster relief, no? Should be able to get a newsy little pamphlet out.

…Other parts of the fold-up guide tell women and girls how to obtain contraceptives to avoid or respond to sexual encounters.

A detailed map shows lodging, shelters, and medical facilities where immigrants can be seen across the 2,000-mile distance from southern Central America all the way to northwestern Mexico.

The maps also show five train routes and teach immigrants how to jump on freight trains safely to get free transportation to the U.S. The trains end at the following U.S. border areas: El Centro, California, Yuma, Arizona, El Paso, Texas, Del Rio, Laredo, and the Rio Grande Valley.

An Arizona sheriff thought the list was peculiar in some of the things it left off.

…Arizona Sheriff Mark Lamb said the packets prove how treacherous the journey is.

“They didn’t tell asthmatics to bring their inhalers. They didn’t tell diabetics to bring their diabetes medicine, but they did tell the women to bring contraceptives because they know that women are being raped,” Lamb said on “Fox & Friends First” Friday.

Lamb argued the message the American Red Cross should send instead is: “Do not cross.”

The journey, the desert, the snakes and the people are all too dangerous, he said.

“We can’t keep making it easy for them and telling them how to do it.”

I don’t get where the Red Cross has any business telling these illegals how to do anything connected with crossing our border – getting to it safely or otherwise.

Now, it turns out the feds have been using the Red Cross to “humanitarian” handle these hordes of illegals once they reach the border…

…The U.S. government tasks the American Red Cross, whose logo is on the guide for migrants south of the border, with allocating millions of dollars in taxpayer funds to support illegal migrants released into the country.

The American Red Cross sits on the board of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Food and Shelter Program and is tasked with allocating funding to nongovernmental groups supporting the illegal migrants. The FEMA program received $350 million from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in February; the American Red Cross is tasked, along with other NGOs, with allocating some of those funds to support migrants after they’ve crossed the southern border and are processed with a court date.

…so maybe corporate just decided to expand the mission of their own? Maybe they want to steer more illegals to crossings where they are predominantly the charity in charge, vice any other NGO? Would that help steer more funding their way? This is so outrageous, I am trying to find a justification for aiding and abetting the breaching of our national sovereignty…or what little is left of it.

They weren’t very forthcoming when the Washington Examiner quizzed them on both the pamphlet and whether federal funds were used to pay for.

…A spokesperson for the Red Cross entities told the Washington Examiner in an email Thursday afternoon that its efforts are part of the International Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement and “neither prevents nor encourages migration.” The organization didn’t address a question on whether federal funds were used.

The American Red Cross is facilitating scenes like this.

Providing material support for the outright invasion of this country as well as the influx of drugs murdering our citizens.

I sure hope someone crawls up their Red Cross to find out just what in the Sam Hay-yull our tax dollars and Americans’ donations are really going to.
