Biden's Texas Two-Step to Beg for Bucks and Votes

President Biden flew into Texas for two days of fundraising. He didn't have time for a trip to the border, though.

If he had gone to El Paso, as he did last year for a very brief trip where parts of the city were sanitized for him, he would have seen this scene on Thursday

Don't you dare call it an invasion, though. They are just storming the border to find jobs and live peacefully.

Biden stopped in Dallas on Wednesday for two fundraisers. Both were private affairs. Poor old Joe doesn't do well with big events. At an event hosted by Dallas lawyer Russell Budd, a big Democrat donor, Biden offered up some interesting comments. By interesting, I mean bat poop crazy. Just another day for Joe Biden.

“I see a future for all Americans where we don’t demonize one another, and we give hate no safe harbor and we leave nobody behind,” Biden said. “That’s a future we can build together.”

Really? He said that after demonizing Trump. Joe Biden is an angry old man who rages with hatred of his opponent. And did he really say "we leave nobody behind?" Does the Afghanistan disastrous withdrawal ring a bell? How about Americans stranded in Israel and  Haiti? The Biden Doctrine is one that leaves American citizens behind all over the world.

He tried to convince the Democrat donors that everyone is better off now then they were during the Trump presidency. He focused on Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and January 6. Biden said that under his watch "there have been advances in cutting health care costs, creating more manufacturing jobs and rebuilding roads and bridges."

Old Yeller has little to run on so his campaign is one of supporting abortion without restrictions and promising to bring back Roe v Wade if he is re-elected. Why doesn't he just do it now? He can't, that's why. He thinks voters are stupid. The other thing Biden is running on is democracy. That just means throwing everything he can think of at Donald Trump. He slams Trump as authoritarian but Biden is the one defying a Supreme Court ruling about writing off student debt loans as an election year pander.

Biden arrived in Houston just before lunch time and was gone in a couple of hours. He stopped by long enough to get some more campaign cash.

In Houston, Biden focused on Trump's interference in the alleged border security bill that was mixed in with funding for Ukraine. He didn't mention Governor Greg Abbott or the battle over the constitutionality of SB 4, the immigration bill that allows Texas law enforcement to detain illegal aliens and then an immigration judge deports them.

The president told donors at a 26,000-square-foot mansion in the River Oaks section of Houston on Thursday that Trump and the Republicans blocked the deal out of fear it would give Democrats a political win. Biden warned if Trump wins in November, it will bring more chaos to the border and immigration as a whole.

“Unlike Trump, I’m not going to demonize immigrants,” Biden said. “I will not say immigrants are 'poisoning the blood' of this nation.  I will not call immigrants from Mexico 'rapists' and 'murderers.'  I will not separate families.”

There are tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors that are not accounted for by Biden's DHS. No one knows where they ended up. Biden doesn't demonize illegal aliens, just American citizens and Border Patrol agents. WhipGate, anyone?

Biden continued the misrepresentation about Trump's bloodbath remark. “There’s no place in American politics for political violence.” Maybe he could tell that to public figures who post their hopes that Trump is killed -off or dies otherwise.

Biden continues to have a substantial lead over Trump when it comes to fundraising.

Trump’s campaign and his Save America political action committee, two key groups in his political operation, reported raising a combined $15.9 million in February and ended the month with more than $37 million on hand, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday night.

Biden’s campaign, meanwhile, said his political operation raised $53 million last month and ended February with $155 million on hand. That includes Biden’s joint fundraising with the Democratic National Committee.

I hope Republicans are smart enough to run that video of the border crossers pushing past Border Patrol and other law enforcement with the sense of entitlement that the Biden border crisis has given them. An ad with that should run several times a day, every day until election day.
