Joe Biden showed up to have dinner with a black man and his two sons in North Carolina. He brought the meal. It was fried chicken from a popular local restaurant.

Doesn't that look a little racist? He brought fried chicken for the family but a hamburger for himself. Was there no watermelon for sale to bring along, too? Geez. Why not hamburgers for everyone? We're talking about two teenage males here. They love hamburgers.

Remember when Donald Trump's White House set out a spread of hamburgers and fries from various fast food places and Domino's pizza on silver platters to celebrate when the Clemson University football team came to the White House to celebrate their championship? The left went nuts. How dare he? 

It was an untraditional choice but the team loved it. So, here we are with Joe Biden stopping off at a Cook Out restaurant with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. They ordered food and milkshakes, a signature of the chain. Biden delivered the meals to the Fitts family. Eric Fitts and his two teenage sons, Christian and Carter, are shown in a video released by the Biden campaign this week eating fried chicken with the president. Biden makes a point of saying he ordered himself a hamburger. There is no sign of Governor Cooper in the video and I can only assume that he is more aware of optics than Team Biden. Good Lord.

The idea was to focus on Biden's sop to younger voters and educational professionals with his student loan cancellations with billions of dollars, which he continues despite the ruling against it by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court ruled against his initial plan to cancel about $430 billion in student loans. The Biden administration is using a different strategy to defy the Court. It has successfully erased $137B in student debt so far. He's saving democracy, you know. 

Enter the Fitts family. They were used as a campaign prop. 

Eric Fitts is one of the tens of thousands of Americans who have had some student loan debt erased by Biden's actions. The video Biden posted Monday, however, focuses instead on the kids' plans. As they eat chicken fingers and burgers, Carter tells Biden about his middle school basketball team, and Christian talks about a high school program that's giving him the chance to go see college campuses and learn more about the business world.

"My favorite thing is this business academy I'm in," he tells Biden after his dad presses him to talk about school. "We travel. We go to N.C. State, Wake Tech. We went to this small dry-cleaning business. And it's just cool. It's a great experience."

Biden expresses his admiration for those opportunities, then wraps up the video telling the teens to go easy on their dad.

"Dads are hard to raise," he says. “Once you're a teenager, you've got to be patient with us."

Biden looking folksy, right? Ugh. He was elected on the disinformation of what a kind and empathetic old man he is while his time in office shows otherwise. He's a mean and spiteful old man. 

North Carolina is an important battleground state. Biden's campaign said it will target the state with heavy campaign advertising. That includes using the campaign's Instagram account where the video was posted. Biden lost North Carolina in 2020 to Trump. Right now, polling shows the two men in a dead heat in the state. Some polls show Trump narrowly ahead of Biden.

Biden is losing black voters, especially black men, to Trump. Biden is losing young people, too. 

Biden is on TikTok now to reach young voters. Government devices are banned from using TikTok due to its spying ability for the Chinese government. Nonetheless, Biden has a re-election campaign to win so TikTok it is. That explains Biden's lame TikTok post that was released on Super Bowl Sunday. 

The outright pandering in the video is cringey. Others have noticed online.

Mostly there is silence, as though this is all perfectly normal. No signs of Joe Biden's racism on display, right? It's like when Biden wore a hard hat backward. His supporters supported him over that blunder. I've worn a hard hat a time or two in my life and I can tell you Biden just looked silly.
