he message “Kill the Jews” was graffitied on the wall of a subway station in New York City, police said, after what appears to be a string of high-profile anti-Semitic incidents involving the city’s mass transit system.

Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials received a report about the graffiti on Wednesday at the 34th Street-Herald Square station, police said, the New York Post reported.

By the time the New York City Police Department was informed about the crime on Friday, the graffiti reportedly had already been removed.

In another incident last week, National Review editor Philip Klein posted a picture on X, formerly Twitter, of the message “Fuck Israel,” “Kill the Jews” and “Kike c****,” scrawled inside a New York subway train.
