"ABC News said on X that it would host a presidential debate on Sept. 10 and that both Trump and Harris had agreed to participate.

"During a news conference at his Palm Beach, Florida, residence, Trump said he wanted to hold debates on Sept. 4, Sept. 10 and Sept. 25, with Fox, ABC and NBC hosting one each. His campaign later clarified that he had mixed up which network would host which debate."

From Ed: I'll believe it when I see an Issues portal on the Harris campaign website and Harris takes an adversarial question on the record from a reporter.

"Former President Donald Trump wouldn’t say Thursday how he’ll vote on a proposed Florida state constitutional amendment that would overturn the state’s six-week abortion ban, adding that he predicted the vote on it would wind up in a more “liberal way” than might be anticipated.

"Trump made the comments during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach. A POLITICO reporter asked how he — as a Florida resident — would vote and he demurred, adding that he thinks abortion has “become much less of an issue.”

"When pressed later in the press conference about the proposed amendment, which Floridians will vote on in November, he promised to hold a press conference on the matter “sometime in the near future.”"

"Newly minted Democrat vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz previously endorsed radical Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., for Congress, Walz's social media revealed.

"In July 2020, as governor of Minnesota, Walz posted: "@IlhanMN never runs away from a challenge. Her determination inspires those around her to pursue their passion in the face of adversity. She has quickly established herself as a progressive leader in Congress. #MN05.""

"There’s a newfound enthusiasm among vulnerable Democrats for Vice President Kamala Harris’ and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s campaignBut several at-risk Democrats aren’t booking their flights to Chicago for the Democratic National Convention just yet.

"With the Senate at stake of falling into Republican control and the GOP targeting dozens of at-risk House Democrats, some members are prioritizing their own campaigns over the convention.

"Sens. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Jon Tester (D-Mont.) said they won’t be going. Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) — who will appear with Harris and Walz in Nevada on Saturday — is also skipping the DNC."

From Ed: If there was really that much enthusiasm outside of deep-blue areas for the ticket, then it would be politically beneficial to participate in the convention. These candidates would flock to the stage to associate themselves with the Harris-Walz ticket.

"And now I’m running against somebody else and we’re leading. We’re leading. So I’m not complaining. I’m saying it’s — for a country with a constitution that we cherish. We cherish this Constitution. To have done it this way is pretty severe. Pretty horrible. You would have thought they would have gone out to a vote. They would have had a primary system. They would have done something.

"But to just take it away from them, like he was a child. And he’s a very angry man right now. I can tell you that he’s not happy with Obama and he’s not happy with Nancy Pelosi. Crazy Nancy, she is crazy, too. He’s not happy with any of the people that told him that. You’ve got to leave. He’s very unhappy, very angry. And I think he also blames her. He’s trying to put up a good face, but it’s a very bad thing in terms of a country when you do that. I’m not a fan of his, as you probably have noticed, and he had a rough debate, but that doesn’t mean that you just take it away like that…You go out to a vote, you do something. He had 14 million votes. She had no votes, she got no votes. And I think she’s crashing."

From Ed: This is a couple of days old, but it's precisely what Team Trump should run in every swing state. In fact, this might be the only message that should run in the swing states.
