Trump Settling All The Family Business?

Over the past few weeks, Trump has been systematically eliminating America's worst enemies and severely weakening others, such as China, whose regime has been building these enemies into proxies and suppliers of vital resources such as oil.

Think of it as Trump's version of handling all the family business.

As the transnational elite cries mightily about Trump upending the norms and structures of the international order that has prevailed for decades, Trump recognized that those norms and structures are fundamentally misaligned with the interests of the United States and ultimately world peace.

The United States and Israel killed Ayatollah Khamenei, and Xi Jinping’s decade-long project to build an alternative to the American-led order died with him.

For years, Beijing quietly assembled a network of dictatorships and client states designed to blunt American power. Iran supplied China with cheap oil and kept Washington bogged down in the Middle East.

Russia waged war on Ukraine with Chinese materiel support, a gamble that was supposed to cement a powerful anti-western axis but has instead bled Moscow into dependence on Beijing. Regional proxies from Lebanon to Gaza added just enough chaos to stop Washington focusing on China.

The Chinese Communist party (CCP) propped up Nicolas Maduro’s Venezuela, too, as it funnelled narcotics and other ills into America.

So he is systematically destroying them, and with them his and America's enemies.

Given all the focus on Operations Epic Fury and Roaring Lion, it's easy to miss that Trump is still busy taking out other enemies at the same time.

As if you needed a clue to why Trump designated drug cartels as terrorist organizations, Trump's actions over the past year should have given you a clue about what he intends to do: destroy them all, just as he is destroying Iran's regime. His administration has been using special forces and sharing intelligence with our partners in the region, systematically taking the cartels, including Venezuela's President Maduro, and reasserting US dominance over the region.

Taking out Venezuela is as much aimed at weakening China, which depended on Venezuelan oil, humiliating Russia, which was closely allied with Maduro, and weakening the Cuban regime to the point that it looks like it will fall in the near future as its economic support and oil supply dry up.

The cartels, by the way, work closely with Hezbollah, which has training bases in the region. And, of course, China is deeply connected with the drug trade, hoping to undermine the United States.

Trump isn't just reestablishing US deterrent capability, scaring the hell out of our enemies. He is quite literally killing many of them off.

Democrats keep comparing Trump to organized crime (how ironic, given how interlocked the Democratic Party is to fraud rings in the United States!), and to a small extent he is acting like a mob boss.

Taking care of all the family business.
