So far, Amy Klobuchar has not been associated directly with the Feeding Our Future, daycare, autism, and other Somali-led frauds that have taken down Tim Walz.
But then again, the scandal has not obviously damaged Attorney General Keith Ellison, or any of the many other Minnesota Democrats who have had ties as close or closer to the fraud as Tim Walz. Our Pravda Media has, until recently, been so incurious about the fraud that has eaten half of Minnesota's Medicaid budget that only Walz has been tarred by the scandal.
But 2026 is an election year, and the smart money says Amy Klobuchar is going to run for governor and use her previous record as a county prosecutor to present herself as the ideal candidate to clean up Minnesota's fraud mess.

Which begs the question: Will the same media that has covered up for Tim Walz over the past decade go all in on protecting Amy?

The fact is that nobody who needs votes in the Twin Cities hasn't made good friends with the powers that be in the Somali community. One of our city councilmen's wives ran a Feeding Our Future "meal site, and one of Mayor Frey's aides was convicted in the fraud scheme—not that anybody in Minneapolis or the state knows either of those things. Campaign donations, political back scratching, and even political interventions to keep the fraud money coming are all well documented.

Keith Ellison's son was a major recipient of FOF money as a Minneapolis City Councilman.
Not to mention that Ilhan Omar is the Congresswoman from this district.
Klobuchar will not be able to outrun the Somali Fraud scandal. Anyone digging into the archives can see that within minutes.

Anyone who thinks that Amy is well vetted after having been a sitting Senator and having run for president is ignoring the fact that Tim Walz ran for Vice President after being governor for 8 years, and he actually was put under the microscope by Eric Holder, who was the Attorney General of the United States of America.

In other words, she has been "vetted" by people who want to give her a stamp of approval, and not by people with an interest in finding anything that might reflect badly on her. And when such "vetting" happens, it is not vetting at all. If Tim Walz got a stamp of approval, Klobuchar could get one while accepting a bribe on camera.
Somali-Americans are neighbors, mentors, and friends who have helped build Minnesota.

There is no current evidence that Klobuchar has direct ties to the scandal, but plenty that she is deeply in bed with the Somali community that is at the center of it. And, so far, nobody has looked too closely because Tim Walz's head was on the chopping block, not hers.
No longer. We can expect that the media will do for her what they have always done, which is put a thick layer of makeup on her and present her as a model. But now that there is blood in the water, the sharks will be circling, and there sure are lots of other people who would love to take a bite out of Klobuchar's future.

The smart money in Minnesota and likely around the country says that Amy is a shoo-in for Governor should she throw her hat in the ring, but I am not quite as certain today as I would have been a few days ago. She has a deep well of respect in this state, but it is entirely based on a superficial knowledge of her career.
Of course, until five minutes ago, Minnesotans thought we had a clean government.
