As the Pravda Media amplifies their "millions of people are going to die" propaganda about the radical downsizing of foreign "aid," anybody paying attention to the facts is being blown away by how corrupt and destructive the spending has been.
We are told that the entire budget went to poor AIDS sufferers in Africa and starving children in Somalia, but the reality is that we have been funding Hamas, al Qaeda, censorship, regime change, human trafficking, NGOs with shady agendas, and...lawyers for transgender asylum seekers in our "ally" Great Britain.
US foreign aid funded legal advice for trans asylum seekers in Britainhttps://t.co/0jnixAWOcA

WTH? As Great Britain is overrun with asylum seekers, the US government has swept in like a White Knight to make sure that the country can't deport somebody who claims to be transgender.
US foreign aid funded legal advice for transgender asylum seekers in Britain, as well as a raft of diversity initiatives in the UK, The Telegraph can reveal.
Joe Biden’s administration donated at least $120,000 to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and LGBT initiatives across the UK, which included Pride-themed concerts and a book festival interview series on “gender identity and inequality”.
Donald Trump this week began disbanding the US international development agency USAid, claiming US taxpayers were funding “radical” Left-wing initiatives around the world.
Nigel Farage, the Reform leader, accused Mr Biden of pushing a “massive societal and political interference” programme in Britain and heralded the return of “common sense” under Mr Trump.
Allies of the US president claim taxpayer dollars have been used for Left-wing vanity projects, including transgender operas and musicals, but critics say abolishing USAid will undermine the soft power of the US and pave the way for a surge in Chinese influence.
Virtually all the aid to Left-wing British organisations identified by The Telegraph came from the US State Department, as opposed to USAid. The department is likely to absorb USAid if the latter is successfully dissolved by the current administration.
In Oct 2022, the department approved funding of $25,000 to Rainbow Migration, a company that provides legal advice to “LGBTQI+ people” attempting to claim asylum in the UK.
The same year, it signed a deal with the Edinburgh International Book Festival to provide $40,000 for a series of interviews “engaging with social issues around gender identity and inequality, racial equity, and diversity”.
If the US won't fund transgender comic books and DEI initiatives around the world, who will?
European countries, after all, are being crushed under the weight of NetZero and a migration surge, so we are the funder of last resort. Turn on the spigots!
The Tony Blair Institute, founded by the former prime minister, was allocated more than $14 million during Mr Biden’s four years in office to fund aid work in Lebanon and sub-Saharan Africa.
USAid-funded activities including “tolerance and bias” workshops for youth groups in Lebanon and a scheme to develop “universal access to clean energy” in sub-Saharan Africa.
A US state department spokesman said that Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, had “paused all US foreign assistance funded by or through the state department and USAid for review” following an executive order from Mr Trump.
“We are reviewing all foreign assistance programmes to ensure they are efficient and consistent with US foreign policy under the America First agenda,” he added.
I have always been moderate when it comes to foreign aid. I see a role for it as a part of a portfolio of foreign policy tools, ranging everywhere from humanitarian aid, soft power all the way to the least desirable, which is armed conflict. If we can accomplish an important goal that advances US interests with $10 million of foreign assistance, that is better than the alternatives.
It is also much more rate than we would like. Most of the money goes to graft and straight into the pockets of intermediaries. When money that is supposed to go to a starving child or digging wells winds up at the Aspen Institute, you know the system is corrupt.

Atlantic Council and Aspen Institute received $50 MILLION from federal agencies since 2021 for grants and contracts.
Between them, they have 50 donors who have given at least $1 million each. https://t.co/Y03OfkRAO7
If the powers that be really wanted Americans to be supportive of foreign aid, they wouldn't raid the piggy bank for their sinecures and vacations or use the money for their regime change projects.
Hillary Clinton will spend US money to destroy the country of Libya and turn it into a failed state, then turn around and pour tens of billions into USAID forever to promote "stability" in the country. And then make sure her buddies at all the right think tanks get paid tons of money to talk about how important it is to do so.
Americans might--just might--be friendlier to the idea of spending money to help people abroad if they weren't lied to all the time about where the money really goes, and if so much of it didn't go into the pockets of bureaucrats, corrupt NGOs, and even terrorists.
Certainly, nobody I know wants to fund transgender asylum seekers in the UK.
