KJP Has the Worst Job in D.C., and I Am Loving It

You know how much I hate the mainstream media. They deserve every bit of contempt we can heap on them.

And, to be honest, I hate them more than I do Karine Jean-Pierre, who at least has the excuse of having to do her job to explain why she lies and gaslights us daily.

Still, I have to say I love the fact that the media is giving KJP such a hard time. I may not hate her as much as I do the media, but she is in the running for 3rd or 4th place in my hierarchy of evil liars.

KJP's job has never been easy, and she has never reached the level of mediocrity, not less competence, in doing it. She doesn't even have the charm of "Circle Back Barbie," and Jen Psaki had little charm herself.

With the implosion of the Biden presidency and campaign, KJP is bearing the brunt of the media's anger at being exposed as gaslighters themselves. They have to blame somebody for all the deception that has been done, and they sure aren't going to admit culpability for lying to the American people.

For a brief moment, Joe Biden was the focus of their ire, but now that he is reborn as George Washington, KJP will have to bear the brunt of the displeasure.

Jean-Pierre has been pretty scarce lately, but she gave a press briefing today- finally- and I can't imagine that she is looking forward to months and months of the kind of grilling she is likely to get. Nobody expects Biden to regain his footing. There is a lot more stumbling, slurring, vacant looks, and pants pooping to go for the next few months, and she will have to live through the painful time as Biden's spokesperson.

And it's not clear where she goes from here. She could probably become a secondary pundit on MSNBC, but she hasn't got the intellectual chops of Psaki, nor the number of admirers that she did. KJP doesn't think well on her feet, and it shows.

You have to wonder if, looking back, she doesn't regret fighting her dismissal and replacement by John Kirby. As you may recall, the White House was trying to push her out and get her a cushy job at EMILYS List. They were willing to spend big bucks to show KJP out the door, and she refused.

Now, it's not so clear that it matters. It's not like Biden's image as a president can be massaged; everybody knows that he is a vegetable. And I doubt John Kirby would be nearly as happy to take the job as he once was. Will KJP's stock rise or fall, once this is over?

I think I know.

She'll still get a nice enough job, but probably not the 7-figure payoff she was likely expecting. I could be wrong about that, but I doubt this White House is going to push any allies to pick up such a newly radioactive hire. Why would they?

Kirby will do fine, of course, because as infuriating as he is, he is good at his job.

But KJP? I wouldn't want to be in her position right now.
