Scott Adams on Sunday predicted that MSNBC would pull its most deranged commentators off the air--you know, the ones who keep blathering on about Trump being an "existential threat," slyly suggesting that the world would be better if Orange Hitler were off the stage--and find a way to distance themselves from the most deranged "journalists" and pundits for a bit.
I was wondering if he would turn out to be right, and as is often the case he did.
No Morning Joe today. They are covering the "breaking news" that a Trump-deranged assassin almost killed the former president.

Of course, no news about this is "breaking" anymore. We are now in the more plodding phase of news dripping out and, of course, pundits discussing what it all means. But MSNBC's pundits are all insane, so NBC has to find an excuse to keep the worst off the air. They might say something that NBC regrets.
MSNBC didn’t air Morning Joe on Monday after the attempted assassination of Donald Trump over the weekend, choosing instead to continue rolling breaking news coverage of the shooting and its aftermath.
The show’s X account told followers Sunday that the popular morning show will “return on Tuesday,” inviting viewers to tune in to MSNBC anyway for more coverage of the attempt on the former president’s life. The decision to bench the politics roundtable show on the day that the Republican National Convention starts in Milwaukee—days after the party’s presumptive presidential nominee’s brush with death—was reportedly made for a very particular reason.
A source familiar with the decision told CNN that Morning Joe was axed Monday in order to avoid a potential situation in which one of the program’s guests makes an inappropriate comment that could be used to criticize the show or the network. The decision was reportedly made by NBCUniversal News Group chairman Cesar Conde in conjunction with MSNBC president Rashida Jones, as well as Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
Morning Joe is both President Biden's favorite show and, not coincidentally, the home of its most insane commentary that goes viral. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are not, I should say, MSNBC's most deranged pundits--Joy Reid has that honor--but Morning Joe is where the serious derangement gets seen because all the nutters spew their bile there together.
On what planet does MSNBC decide it cannot trust their flagship brand-name morning anchors to cover the most important story on the planet? What are they afraid of? One wonders what has already been said behind the scenes that raised alarms.

Morning shows are the place where networks set the tone for the day, let you know what Narrative they are pushing, and begin their daily attempts at brainwashing. Pulling Morning Joe--the MSNBC flagship--off the air is basically an admission of what Scott Adams was saying: MSNBC and Morning Joe have been inciting violence against Trump for quite a while now, and violence is what we got.

You can't call a person "worse than Hitler" thousands of times, talk about "existential threats," call for the "elimination" of Donald Trump, and then act surprised when somebody takes you seriously.
On Twitter yesterday, hundreds or thousands of deranged Democrats expressed horror that the shooter missed Trump's brain. Several Democrat campaign workers have been fired already, including a staffer of Congressman Bennie Thompson, the January 6th Committee Chairman and author of the bill to strip Donald Trump of Secret Service protection.

We don't know whether the assassin was an avid MSNBC watcher or not, but that isn't the point. The Democrats keep screaming about Trump's rhetoric, but it is they who routinely fantasize about killing Donald Trump and keep calling Republicans "domestic terrorists" as their own activists burn down cities.

It is almost a mantra of mine that the biggest problem America faces is the corruption of the mainstream media. They are the enablers--the keystone--who make the left-wing insanity possible, powerful, and effective. The politicians and activists couldn't be effective without the propaganda arm. Biden will leave the scene either voluntarily or by being voted out, but the power structure that imposes its communist agenda is propped up by the media.
Don't expect Morning Joe to be pulled--it will be back tomorrow, they say. But NBC is scrambling behind the scenes to rein in their most outrageous commentators.
It's an admission through omission. They have to retrench, refine, and redirect attention away from themselves.
