I am mildly surprised that he didn't say that we have until November 5, 2024, to save the world. 

That is, after all, what he really means. Climate change ideology has everything to do with controlling money and power and nothing to do with actually saving the planet from disaster. 

Simon Steiell, who currently is the United Nations Executive Climate Secretary, has yet another dire warning that the planet is burning, that all life on earth is about to evaporate, and that cows are farting too much for anything to survive the apocalypse. 

World to end on April 9, 2026, says UN climate chief, @simonstiell:

"Who exactly has two years to save the world? The answer is every person on this planet."

But at least one long-time climate hoaxer is not falling for it:

It's tiresome and damaging to all science, including and especially climate science. Everything we are told is a lie. 

OXFORD, England (AP) — Humanity has only two years left “to save the world” by making dramatic changes in the way it spews heat-trapping emissions and it has even less time to act to get the finances behind such a massive shift, the head of the United Nations climate agency said.

With governments of the world facing a 2025 deadline for new and stronger plans to curb carbon pollution, nearly half of the world’s populations voting in elections this year, and crucial global finance meetings later this month in Washington, United Nations executive climate secretary Simon Stiell said Wednesday he knows his warning may sound melodramatic. But he said action over the next two years is “essential.”

“We still have a chance to make greenhouse gas emissions tumble, with a new generation of national climate plans. But we need these stronger plans, now,” Stiell said in a speech at the Chatham House think tank in London. He suggested that climate action is not just for powerful people to address — in a not-so-veiled reference to the electoral calendar this year.

Vladimir Putin and Chairman Xi may be interested in influencing our elections, but at least they have the common courtesy not to be so blatant about it. And the Associated Press might be a bit less open about helping them do so. 

I have said many times that I would love to be able to follow climate science and take it seriously, but the scientists themselves and their advocates in politics and the media are full of s**t, so I just can't. So many deadlines for the world to end have come and gone and yet anybody who says they are crying "Wolf" is attacked as if they were Holocaust deniers. (Not that Holocaust deniers are out of fashion for the moment--they seem to be everywhere these days). 

The truth is that average people are not the target audience for these messages. It is the young, impressionable kids who are being mobilized. This is what makes the deification of Greta Thunberg comprehensible. Nobody who elevated her to celebrity status took her seriously--but they hoped other young people would emulate her. 

Hence, all the stories about "climate anxiety" among the young are the intended result of all the propaganda. Using our children against us. 

Teens haven't lived through all the expired deadlines, so they are still vulnerable to hysteria. 

The elite is creating their Komsomol youth movement, indoctrinating the next generation of communists.
