NYT: There Is a Deep State and it Is Awesome

The New York Times

You have to hand it to The New York Times. They are as slick as they are deceptive.

A paper once known for afflicting the comfortable in government, they have been on a tear lately, shilling for the overlords who want to run our lives and rig our democracy.

Of course, this being The New York Times, they are lying about everything, not the least of which is what we mean by the "Deep State." They want us to believe that when Trump talks about the Deep State he really means mid-level bureaucrats at the Marshal Spaceflight Center, and not the upper echelons of the FBI, NSA, CIA, and Justice Department.

However much you hate the media, it isn't nearly enough. They are Pravda with much better production values

As America closes in on a major election, mistrust is brewing around the mysterious government entity that’s now denounced in scary-sounding terms — “the deep state” and “the swamp.” What do those words even mean? Who exactly do they describe?

We went on a road trip to find out. As we met the Americans who are being dismissed as public enemies, we discovered that they are … us. They like Taylor Swift. They dance bachata. They go to bed at night watching “Star Trek” reruns. They go to work and do their jobs: saving us from Armageddon.

Sure, our tax dollars pay them, but as you’ll see in the video above, what a return on our investment we get!

When we hear “deep state,” instead of recoiling, we should rally. We should think about the workers otherwise known as our public servants, the everyday superheroes who wake up ready to dedicate their careers and their lives to serving us. These are the Americans we employ. Even though their work is often invisible, it makes our lives better.

This is from the former newspaper that brought you the Pentagon Papers.

Barf.

The smug, self-satisfied, and utterly unself-conscious mendacity of the video they produced is a wonder to behold, and as persuasive as Elizabeth Holmes is to the old men she seduced into investing in her sham company. Many of us on the outside thought "Hmm, seems impossible," but those 60-80 year-old men wanted to be told by an attractive woman that a Stanford dropout could revolutionize the blood test industry.

So they believed it.

But the New York Times is now Elizabeth Holmes after conviction. We know they are scammers, and we all know exactly what conservatives mean by the term "Deep State." It is "Anonymous," who bragged in the opinion pages of the Times that he worked in the Trump White House and was sabotaging Trump's policies. It was FBI officials who lied to the FISA Court. It was James Comey, Peter Strzok, and all those intelligence community liars who conspired to destroy Trump with hoaxes that eventually fell apart.

Chuck Schumer told us who the Deep State is, and told us that they would be out to get Trump:

It isn't a bureaucrat in Huntsville, AL, and we all know that. The Times can't even gaslight anybody but the people who desperately want to be.

Of course, the Times knows exactly what the Deep State is, and they indeed do think it is awesome because it works daily to prop up the Left, undermine Republicans,

The Deep State runs the censorship regime. They are the ones who leak false information to the press, and who the press go to get the next batch of useful lies.

Of course the Times loves them. The Times is allied with the Deep State.
