The Indoctrination of Kids Has Worked

If you still need evidence that the kids are not all right, the latest Harvard-Harris poll should finally convince you.

If you are a Trump supporter or a Biden opponent, the news is good. But if you worry that our education system has turned into a factory that churns out ideological monsters, the news is very bad.

The first thing you notice in the poll is that all those classes promoting CRT are having an effect. Four out of five people between 18 and 24 believe that White people are oppressors and that race-blind policies are unjust. Among millennials, the split is 50-50. Gen X and Boomers are on the opposite end of the spectrum.

You could call this the Ibram X. Kendi generations vs the MLK generations.

Sigh.

Jews, too, get labeled oppressors by the young, which explains why there is so much antisemitism in our schools and college campuses. Look at the totals for the population as a whole and compare them with our young adults; you can see that the numbers are inverted. It is not an exaggeration to say that our young people have rejected American values–because they have.

Unsurprisingly our fine young people hate Israel, the only Westernized country in the Middle East, but if you buy the argument that “from the River to the Sea” is misunderstood by the young, you turn out to be wrong.

Kids 18-24 actually want Israel to be destroyed and the territory to be handed over to Hamas, and even approve of Hamas’ tactics in achieving this goal.

No, I am not kidding. They know that Hamas committed terrorist–they told Harvard-Harris that–but think it was justified.

Think about that. Half of kids 18-24 think Israel should be eliminated, while many of them simultaneously believe that Hamas committed rapes and other crimes against women.

Who are these people? And what have we been teaching them?

It is striking that Harvard-Harris did not break out opinions by age except for the issues of CRT and Israel, and this is likely because these are the issues on which opinions are stratified so dramatically by age.

The stratification is pretty obviously due to the adoption of the oppressor/oppressed dichotomy by young people, and that adoption is driven by the American education system’s being run by cultural Marxists.

No industry is more subsidized by the government than education; the public schools are funded almost entirely by the government, and our colleges and universities use federal and state funding as their financial base. Even private schools depend on government subsidies to students and their research arms.

Thus, taxpayers are paying for the ideological indoctrination of students into an anti-American/anti-Western ideology.

This is perverse and contrary to why we fund education through government subsidies. We are creating antisemitic racists, and it is by design. Likely not the design of most of the people supporting these subsidies, but clearly the design of the people who now run our education infrastructure.

Fire the administrators. Weed out the anti-Western teachers. Rebuild the system from the ground up. What we have now cannot be saved, and it is destroying our country.
