Michael Rapaport couldn't say enough cruel things about President Donald Trump.
The veteran film and TV star ("Beautiful Girls," "True Romance," Netflix's "Atypical") peppered his podcast and social media posts with anti-Trump rants. Many involved the word "pig," although we can't share the rest of his insult in a family-friendly venue.
My, how things have changed.
Now, Rapaport hasn't gone the full Nicki Minaj. He's not appearing with President Trump, donning a red MAGA hat or extolling the virtues of the leader's MAHA movement. Nor has President Trump commented on his posterior, shapely or otherwise.
The actor has been red pilled all the same, and it started with Oct. 7.
Rapaport is Jewish and his support of Israel has been unflagging. While 99.9 percent of his Hollywood peers ignored the plight of Israeli hostages, Rapaport kept screaming for their freedom. His finest hour? Mocking actors who use the Oscars bully pulpit for their pet causes without saying a single syllable about the imprisoned Israeli citizens.
He did it with a blistering faux Oscars ceremony.
The actor began reassessing President Trump post-Oct. 7. He cheered how the world leader pressed Hamas to release the hostages, stood by Israel and refused to follow the Left's increasing trend toward antisemitism.
Rapaport also apologized for believing the Very Fine People hoax, a step very few stars have attempted. He wouldn't outright say he was voting for President Trump in the 2024 election, but chances are he did just that based on his recent public comments.
He also might follow Trump's unorthodox path into the political realm.
Earlier this year, he promised to run against Zohran Mamdani in New York City's next mayoral election, citing the leader's chilling comments about terrorism and Israel.
Zohran the moron is the most divisive mayor in the history of this city by far ... and his wife is an antisemite.
The latter refers to New York's First Lady Rama Duwaji liking posts that cheered on the Oct. 7 atrocities and contributing art for an author with deeply troubling views. Susan Abulhawa has spoken of "Jewish supremacist vampires" and called the Oct. 7 attacks "spectacular."
Think that might make it into a Rapaport for Mayor ad campaign?
Now, Rapaport is supporting Gov. Kathy Hochul's opponent in next month's New York race for Governor. Rapaport bragged about voting for underdog Republican Bruce Blakeman, saying Hochul "stinks" in the process. He's not alone, though.
Actress Debra Messing, a formerly dyed in the wool progressive star, also supports Blakeman in the East Coast slugfest. Messing has been very vocal in her Israel support of late. She previously threatened to boycott fellow actors who supported President Trump.
Now, she's going public by rallying behind a GOP politician. Might she be in the early stages of her own red-pill transformation?
Rapaport is much further along the way. And, as the GOP keeps supporting Israel while Democrats rally behind odious figures like Hasan Piker and Michigan Senatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed, he might have company above and beyond the "Will & Grace" alum.
