Portly Pritzker Putting Rotund Self Front and Center in a Big Way

Alrighty, let me be upfront about this right off the bat - I can't stand this revolting sumbish.

If ever there was an oligarchy to be fought against, his name - J.B. 'Snapping-Turtle Turk' Pritzker, food blister extraordinaire - is right there on the dishonor roll next to Soros and that ilk.

Pritzker is on the move, thinking he has a shot at being the presidential nominee for a Democratic Party adrift in a rudderless boat filled with a cantankerous crew, desperate for leadership.

If JB Pritzker runs for the Democratic presidential nomination, he will be betting his party’s best prospect is a political punch-throwing heavyset billionaire who inherited massive wealth. While that sounds like President Trump, the two-term Illinois governor would be wagering on himself.

Pritzker, an heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune, has become one of the most-outspoken critics of Trump at a time Democrats are struggling to counter him. Wealth has long opened doors for Pritzker and there are signs he wants the next one to be into the Oval Office.

The 60-year-old is visiting New Hampshire, traditional home of the nation’s first presidential primary, to speak April 27 at a party fundraiser about what he sees as Trump’s authoritarianism and to call Democrats to action. The trip is likely to boost speculation that Pritzker, among those vetted by Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign as a possible running mate, is interested in the 2028 nomination.

There is no doubt that he is going to run,” said Chicagoan Bill Daley, who served as President Bill Clinton’s commerce secretary and President Barack Obama’s chief of staff. “The real question is whether he runs for re-election first or just runs for president.”

But how does an oversized ego separate itself from the pack of potential candidates, some of whom are chief executives themselves?

He buys the best help, which makes perfect sense. He can afford them. And he can also afford to virtue signal to keep his creds current, unlike, say, AOC, who most certainly is neither paying for her private jet nor buying any Green grifting 'offsets' for her luxury travel.

...Anne Caprara, Pritzker’s chief of staff, said he is “deeply analytical” from his work as a venture capitalist and businessman. But, she said, he often tells business leaders “you can’t run government like business” because they have very different goals.

Aided by his funding of local candidates, Pritzker has total control of his party in Illinois and faces minimal Republican opposition. Daley called him easily the state’s most powerful politician, a role Daley’s father and brother once played as Chicago mayors.

Pritzker is known for using his wealth to boost state salaries of senior aides so he can retain the best talent. When he flies, it is usually by private jet, which he pays for himself along with carbon credits to offset the emissions.

Pritzker also has a populous state with a once-shining major city lying in shambles around him. That darn near seems to be a Democratic prerequisite for believing you're ready and capable of destroying the country - see Gavin Newsom's similar line of ego-driven, twisted logic.

Upon hearing that their state's chief executive was now ready to take on the country, Chicago residents were dismissive. Pritzker is the whole package - ever higher taxes, indulgent to a fault with criminals at the expense of his citizens, encouraging sanctuary policies while raiding already near-empty state coffers for illegal perks.

Blah blah blah, piling on, ad nauseum.

Living in Illinois during Pritzker's reign has become an exercise in insult to injury existence.

...While crime, homelessness and a number of issues have plagued the city of Chicago and surrounding areas in the state, Pritzker's sanctuary policies, paired with the influx of migrants during the Biden administration, were a key theme among residents.

"A sanctuary city governor who provides more support to migrants than poor Illinois residents in need," founder of Chicago Community Roundtable and Chicago resident Cata Truss told Fox News Digital. "Do we really want him representing this country?"

..."His policies put women and children at risk," Chicago resident Patricia "P Rae" Easley told Fox News Digital. "He passed a law that states that little girls can get abortions without their parents' consent, which gives abusers more power and made Illinois the abortion capital of the world."

"[Illinois] has the highest taxes in America, and people are fleeing the state like a sinking ship," Easley added.

Young Illinois residents, the kind of voters Democrats have been shocked to find deserting them nationally across the board, have also been fleeing the results of Pritzker's policies in the state. One wouldn't think that would bode well for a national run, but then self-delusion figures large in these dreams of glory.

...And I see Illinois residents running as fast as they can for the exits, not only retirees and geezers like me fleeing to Texas, Florida, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

But young people with good incomes—the kind a place can’t afford to lose—are fleeing Illinois as if from the plague.

“We couldn’t have planned it this way,” write Ed Dabrowski and John Klingner of wirepoints.org. “But our seven most-read stories in 2024 each captured a different facet of what’s wrong with Illinois.

“Failing schools. Murders. Closing businesses. A bloated, overpaid government sector. Election interference. Population-loss denial. And Chicago’s twisted equity priorities.”

Who would disagree? Every former resident of Illinois knows that failed schools, murders, strangled businesses, bloated insufferable government, election interference, and twisted racist DEI priorities caused them to leave home.

And now, leading the parade of failed states–like some humongous balloon held by ropes and burly teamsters–is the fat man man from Illinois who wants to be president:

Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

Yeah - this guy is gangbusters good stuff.

So I guess all signs on the Magic Ego Eight Ball pointed to 'Waddle, JB, WADDLE!' for president when he grasps the fortune telling device in his pudgy digits and gives the black orb a good shake.

Ergo, off he lumbered to New Hampshire to do the traditional sniff around while testing out his 'voice' as potential party leader.

Pritzker ripped on Democrats, chiding them for being *checks notes* 'do nothing' whiners.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has a message for his party: drop the decorum and fight.

In a 30-minute speech before New Hampshire Democrats on Sunday night, Pritzker railed against the “do nothing political types” he blames for ceding power to Republicans.

Those same do-nothing Democrats want to blame our losses on our defense of Black people and trans kids and immigrants — instead of their own lack of guts and gumption,” Pritzker said.

He lambasted pundits and scorned those “flocking to podcasts” to criticize their colleagues for not caring about the working class — the same people, he argued, “who when it comes to relief of the struggles of real people have been timid, not bold.”

The two-term governor, philanthropist and potential 2028 presidential candidate traveled to the early presidential primary state to keynote the annual McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner, a major fundraiser for the state Democratic Party.

We need to knock off the rust of poll-tested language, decades of stale decorum. It’s obscured our better instincts,” Pritzker said.

I will agree with Pritzker that Democrats' 'better instincts' have been obscured, but I ardently believe that's because they don't have any.

And darned if the silver-tongued devil didn't prove me right.

Where did the IL governor go from there in his speech? Did he call for a higher standard of discourse?

A return to the days when Democrats understood and championed the dirty fingernails of the working class?

Perhaps a soaring repudiation of all the attempts at division, distrust, and feeding perpetual flames of racial enmity and victimhood?

GOD BLESS AMERICA, even?

Nah

Are you kidding me?

Pritzker went the full Maxine Waters.

...Never before in my life have I called for mass protests, for mobilization, for disruption. But I am now.

These Republicans do not know a moment of peace!

They have to understand that we will fight their cruelty with every megaphone and microphone we have. We must castigate them on the soapbox and then punish them at the ballot box.

And all the little blue-haired Communists attending cheered wildly, and the few who could stand to applaud did so.

Snapping-turtle Turk was so proud - the big, bulbous billionaire was beaming.

Oh, I bet he thinks he can do this now.

And, gosh, what a unique message from a Democrat - he sure set himself apart.

What a frickin' disgusting, hate-filled clown show these people are and that party is.
