Dems Be All 'We Need a Hero'

Democratic outreach is going well. Touching base with voters and canvassing neighborhoods for dead people always scores points.

People tend to remember what party that was.

The chirpy, cheerful messaging has to stop - we can't handle much more of them acting like pissy five-year-olds and showing us who they really are.

I suppose if the national Democratic Party had some sort of direction, maybe a 'leader' themselves, they could then rein in the local groups a little better.

But when you have the most recognizable members of your party performing like doofuses at every turn for which they are then mocked repeatedly, that leaves the foot soldiers without guidance.

Who to turn to?

Who'll be the hero?

It's no wonder AOC is out there begging for the folks who are showing up at the barnstorming stops she and her mooching millionaire Communist travel buddy are making to find someone...anyone.

Their message, as always, is inclusive.

NO MATTER WHO YOU VOTED FOR, NO MATTER IF YOU KNOW ALL THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY, NO MATTER YOUR RACE, RELIGION, GENDER IDENTITY OR STATUS. EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ME...YOU ARE WELCOME HERE

Who could resist such an appeal?

Join us to Fight Oligarchy!

And doesn't that roll off the tongue?

Of course, this is the sort of thing they're both really good at and not much else.

A new poll suggests that, while these two gad about the country on their Snarky Oligarchy Tour, the losses Dems endured on November 5th have only become more entrenched and are accelerating among the rank and file. Democrats are underwater with Democrats.

Who could they possibly turn to?

There are lots of wannabes out there in deep blue D-world, but they all cause immediate guffaws the second their names and presidential aspirations are mentioned in the same breath. It doesn't help that they're all equally shameless and clueless.

Take the story David had today about the Bidens 'wanting back in.'

What they want is immaterial when Democrats don't want them.

And who are they kidding with the premise of the article? It's Joe?

When Joe has that lucid moment, maybe even twice a week, he might fondly remember he was somebody once. But I know damn well it's not him putting these cringe-worthy feelers out, although he managed to stay awake for a meeting someone arranged. They don't mention if he acted like he knew who he was talking to - apparently, he's had to be prodded after looking blankly in long-time, big-time donors' faces.

...Biden privately met last month with the new Democratic National Committee chairman, Ken Martin, and offered to help as the party struggles to regain its viability amid polling that shows its popularity has been sinking, the people said.

But you know damn well who's all about that presidential stuff.

...Former first lady Jill Biden is also prepared to campaign and raise money for fellow Democrats as she and her husband settle into life back home in Delaware, a person close to her said.

“She recognizes that serving in the capacities that she served is an honor and it comes with responsibilities to the party. And she’s prepared to help in any way she can,” the person said.

Si, she pwodway

Jill can't stand being sidelined, and you just know she's seething that, even with a moribund brand-new podcast, people are still cooing over Michelle Obama. Democrats would claw each other's eyes out in the scramble to work for her if she said, 'I might be interested...'

No one will ever be whimsically and wistfully wondering why DOCTOR Jill doesn't step up and take her rightful place to save the nation from itself.

Oooo - it has to burn.

Jill Biden going from wanting to demanding 'back in' is going to be harder to avoid than Hilaria Baldwin telling Alec to zip it.

There's no one in charge of the party who can tell her no.
