This is a winner in both the “What could go wrong/” and the “Who could possibly be mad about this?” categories.

I’m not sure if these fine Chicago taxpayers would be mad about it. After all, they do seem to want the migrants who are scheduled to take over their beloved neighborhood park prevented permanently from doing so.

In fact, I’d use the word “adamant” to describe these taxpayers’ encounter with their local representative when voicing their concerns recently.

That one lady is HOT about it.

I don’t know enough to criticize their objections to the plan. I’m sure it’s a lovely park. But, as we’ve been repeatedly admonished when we question the “migrants” illegally flooding our border and washing into our cities like a foreign tidal wave, these are peace loving, freedom seeking people who have sacrificed everything to get to the land of cannabis and karaoke.

But I am sure the better-life-seeking migrant stabbing only happened because the female took his clothes out of the dryer before they were through. Used to happen all the time at the barracks. I would have stabbed her, too.

No need to cast racist aspersions or call someone a criminal. You pay good money for dryer time.

Speaking of money, lucky thing it’s a subject progressives never tire of nor do they ever run out of other people’s to spend. And they’re going to do it some more in a big hearted way in Chicago, for their freedom seeking nomads.

Yes, sir – every warm body gets a handout. Well…illegal body, that is. You homeless Americans and derelicts on the street are as screwed as you ever were. Priorities – you understand.

Chicago is giving $9,000 in rental assistance to migrants in need of temporary housing – after it paid a medical firm a staggering $7.2million for staffing shelters for just one week, according to official records.

The Windy City is struggling with over 11,000 migrants in shelters and 4,000 staying in police stations and the O’Hare International Airport after more than 18,000 have arrived in the city in one year.

To free much-needed room in shelters, the state of Illinois is helping cover costs for temporary housing for migrants, including $9,000 in rental assistance over a six-month period, Chicago’s deputy chief of staff Cristina Pacione-Zayas told Fox32. The funds include assistance with moving costs and a starter kit to furnish apartments.

Well the word on the street is these individuals are being coached on squatters rights. So once that assistance runs out landlords will be stuck in the eviction process nightmare that heavily favors tenants over their property rights. Good luck.

So they’re going to help these illegals get housing, pay for the rent, and get the paperwork so they can take jobs from residents of Chicago!

And it looks as if some of those noisy residents squawking about their taxes will get their way. Why do people have to be such pests? Can’t they see we have an existential humanitarian crisis on our hands?

…Last week, city officials walked back plans to turn a park’s football pitch fieldhouse into a migrant shelter after protests by furious locals who argued the facility provided a safe space for the city’s youth.

It came after hundreds joined the Windy City Dolphins Youth Football League to protest the plan to turn the Amundsen Park Fieldhouse into an emergency shelter for about 200 asylum seekers.

Just two years after declaring his state the ‘Most Welcoming State in the Nation’ and expanding immigrant protections, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has begged President Joe Biden to divert migrants away from his state.

Thank goodness there is lots of money for the important things.

Wait until they see the shiny tent cities we’ll have ready for them to move to just in time for a Chicago winter.
