What else is overwhelming is the obvious hand of Iran in planning and funding this, evidenced by the thanks being heaped on them by the Hamas terrorists and organizers of this massacre.

And there are hard questions swirling about the Biden administration’s financing of both the Palestinians and releasing the frozen funds in exchange for American hostages to Iran.

Put another way, the Biden administration position is that we have to enrich Iran with billions of dollars they can use to murder Israelis because climate change

As Biden’s toadies fidget and fumble answers about “fungible,” and funding, Democrats and even media personalities are experiencing a rude awakening from the formerly pain-free Palestinian cause indulgence fad. It was all fun and “Free Palestine” games, until suddenly – it wasn’t.

When Hamas exposed themselves for the bloodthirsty savages we all knew they were, but the Progressive Left had lionized as some twisted oppressed noble nomads of the desert.

That squirming sense of “What have we and Biden done and what can we fix really fast” has reached the Senate, where Democratic members are starting to ask about the $6B still sitting in an escrow account.

Influential Democratic senators have publicly pressed the Biden Administration to try to find a way to freeze $6 billion in Iranian funds over Tehran’s support for Hamas.

The pressure from within the president’s own party comes as the White House says there is no confirmation of Iran’s support for the gruesome Hamas attack – even while acknowledging Iran’s longstanding support for the group.

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.), a Democratic centrist who is up for reelection in 2024, is among those calling for the funds to be refrozen.

‘As American intelligence officials continue to investigate the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas, we should review our options to hold Iran accountable for any support they may have provided,’ he said.

‘At a minimum, we should immediately freeze the $6 billion in Iranian assets and explore other financial tools we have at our disposal,’ he said, the Hill reported.

Also weighing in was Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who is also facing reelection. ‘I wasn’t supportive of the initial $6 billion transfer. We should absolutely freeze Iranian assets while we also consider additional statements,’ he said.

Oh, you BET they’re sweating bullets.

…The White House says it is examining prior intelligence and seeking to determine whether Iran provided direct support for the attack, but has not been able to establish this so far. Israel has also said there is no ‘smoking gun.’

Sen. Jackie Rosen (D-Nev.) isn’t waiting for more information, based on what Hamas has already done.

‘In light of Hamas’s violent and horrific terrorist attack on Israel and Iran’s long-standing support for Hamas, we should freeze these assets,’ she said in a statement to Politico.

‘This was clearly an attack that was planned for months or longer, the notion that somehow there is a relationship there doesn’t pass the smell test,’ said Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), the Senate Intelligence Chairman.

Well, funny the senator should mention the planning this took, because that’s exactly what one of the Hamas butchers was talking…well, bragging about today on MEMRI. Two years. It’s been over two years they’ve been working on this barbarism.

My colleague over at PJ Media, Matt Margolis, says Biden isn’t going to take it back. He had his weaselly spokesman out there today tapdancing yet again about what’s literally “spent” and what isn’t.

…“We have not yet had a dollar of that $6 billion spent, and I will leave it at that,” Sullivan replied.

Like we all fell off the cabbage truck yesterday, dude.

One of the fellows Laura Ingraham interviewed last night – an American who was staying at a kibbutz and is a medic, I believe – said everything was numbered. Their vests, their weapons. It was all organized. I’ve heard that from other sources as well, that the organization was incredible.

Iran doesn’t need to have their seed money for this slaughter replaced with that $6B.

Come on, man – snatch it right back up.

Iran is practically daring Biden to.
