According to a report by the Daily Mail, there is a ‘secret’ facility that houses illegal immigrant families in a private aircraft hangar. This has allegedly been going on for more than eight months.

This secret facility’s existence was kept from elected officials in San Antonio while the local taxpayers were footing the bill for months. The facility holds illegal aliens who are flying out of Texas because the shelters are overrun. The reason this private hangar is used is to keep hundreds of illegal aliens from sleeping in San Antonio’s airport.

Airports are being used in other cities, like Chicago, so that tracks. Who knew that Joe Biden’s idea of transforming America was to turn airports into shelters for illegal aliens? Now there is this story that an airport hangar is being used.

Migrants are spending anywhere from a few hours to a few days there, sources revealed, before catching flights across the US.

Local human rights activists have raised concerns over the conditions in the warehouse, with adults and children forced to use porta-potties out in the cold.

San Antonio City Councilor Marc Whyte told DailyMail.com he learned of the site just weeks ago, adding: ‘When I found out about this, I lost my mind.

‘What the hell is going on next to the airport? Any expansion of migrant holding facilities I, of course, am adamantly against.’

With the crazy high numbers of border crossing apprehensions in recent days, it is not surprising that unusual places are being used. For public safety reasons, it should be considered better to house them in a private space instead of a public airport. This week, a record was set with border crossers. There were 12,000 apprehensions made on Tuesday. Since Joe Biden took office, about 7M illegal immigrants have crossed the border. There have been 1.7M gotaways who will likely never be apprehended. Almost 200 on the terror watch list have shown up at the southern border. Reasonable people know that this madness is unsustainable.

San Antonio City Councilor Marc Whyte found out about the shelterweeks ago. He said he lost his mind over the discovery.

DailyMail.com visited the facility on Wednesday and was confronted by a private security guard who claimed no photographs were allowed.

He ignored the fact it was on a public road, tried to block the reporter’s view, and said he would not speak to a woman.

San Antonio’s migrant shelter is currently over capacity, with people sleeping outside in tents and even off on sidewalks near the shelter.

Catholic Charities which operates the shelter, and the city coordinated to drop off migrants at the airport within a few hours of their flight.

This led to dozens of migrants sleeping at the airport nightly, which upset locals.

Whyte said that earlier this year, hundreds of illegal aliens were sleeping in the airport. He learned of the use of the airport hangar in May. The interesting part is that the city didn’t tell the city council members about the decision to do so. Whyte said that the city council was told of the possibility this would happen. Elected officials confirmed that they were not notified that the hangar was operational. The city council did not vote to authorize city tax dollars to pay for it.

Nearly 400 migrants, including women and children, are packed into the hangar every night, even though the building is not meant to house people, according to the city’ own migrant dashboard.

The City of San Antonio confirmed it has been operating the shelter since May in an emailed response to DailyMail.com.

‘Some migrants may spend less than 24 hours at the Airport Transit Center while others may spend more than 24 hours at this facility. Migrants are transported from the ATC to the Airport in time for their departure and are provided with information and assistance to get them to their gates,’ officials said.

City officials across the country are forced to wing it when it comes to handling illegal immigration. The Biden administration refuses to do its job. In this case, San Antonio residents are finding out that their tax dollars are being spent on this hangar’s operations and they are footing the bill for Governor Abbott’s initiative, Operation Lone Star. It’s a double hit for them. All Texas taxpayers pay for Operation Lone Star because the Biden administration refuses requests for federal help. Abbott began his initiative in March 2021.
