Kimmel to Bill Burr: 'You Are Going to Get a Visit From the Secret Service!'

Comedian Bill Burr was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel’s show Tuesday night. The late-night show host warned Burr that he may be receiving a visit from the Secret Service instead of Santa Claus this year.

Burr, a stand-up comedian and actor, made a joke about the possibility of the deaths of Joe Biden and Donald Trump before the 2024 presidential election rolls around. He did make a point of using the term ‘natural causes’ in his delivery. He wasn’t talking about assassination or murder, which is more than can be said for some celebrities who talk about Trump and other Republicans.

There is this violent post on X, that has now been deleted by Nikki Fried. She is a former Florida Agriculture Commissioner, a former gubernatorial candidate in Florida, and the head of the Florida Democrat Party. She prepped Gavin Newsom for the debate against DeSantis. “Take him out back and put him out of his misery.” Sounds like that could incite some violence, eh? Is that how public figures should post on X?

There was also Kathy Griffin who posted a tweet holding a likeness of the head of Donald Trump. She portrayed beheading Trump when he was president.

We remember.

Burr made a tongue-in-cheek remark that “with any luck” both of the front-runner candidates will die before the election. He wants to vote for a candidate who is young and will have to be around many years to live with his decisions in office, he said. Biden at 81 and Trump at 77 are too old.

‘I want somebody in their forties, somebody that’s going to have to live with their decisions,’ he said.

‘With any luck, they’ll both die of natural causes before the election and maybe we can get somebody that still has something to live for.’

It was crude. No one should be acting like they want people to die, even in jokes, in this political atmosphere. Too many people are on hair-triggers. You never know what will set them off.

That is why Kimmel said Burr might get a visit from the Secret Service. They have to check out everything, even likely innocent remarks on national television.

Burr moved on to slamming liberals for indicting Trump.

He also laid into ‘idiot liberals’ for indicting the former president and making ‘Trump a ‘martyr’.

‘He’s a narcissist,’ he told Kimmel on Tuesday night. ‘You need neutral energy.

‘I think he was a one-hit wonder, he wrote the twist, he was on the casino circuit and then you idiot liberals wrote him twist again when you indicted him and now he is a martyr.

‘He’s coming back. It’s gonna be great for comedy.’

Is Trump a one-hit wonder? That remains to be seen if he and Biden are the presidential nominees. Burr is right about the indictments, though. They keep Trump up in the polls because people know it isn’t right to have a two-tier system of justice. Democrats were ready to impeach Trump before he was inaugurated and kept up the political persecution for four years. Funny how Democrats don’t seem to be concerned about the corruption coming out about Joe Biden and his family. There is only complete denial, even with bank records as proof.

Burr is a Trump critic, he’s not unique in Hollywood. He also defended his wife recently when she flipped-off Trump at the UFC 295 event.

Cameras caught Nia Renee Hill, sitting near Trump, swearing at the former Commander-in-Chief when he was in shot.

Burr expressed his support for his ‘hilarious’ wife, saying: ‘I love my wife, you know where you stand with her.

‘The guy walked into the arena, everybody cheered, she gave him the finger, nobody got arrested. That’s why this country’s great!’

Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well. It’s never gone away. Democrats are trying to jail the former president to keep him out of the White House. Joe Biden likes to say he wants to transform America. He sure has accomplished that.
