Armed cartel members cross Texas-Mexico border in body armor

Only Fox News is showing video of armed cartel members wearing body armor crossing into the United States, into parts of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. Other networks rarely cover the porous open border created during the Biden border crisis. It reflects badly on the Biden administration and most Democrats (and their cohorts in the media) have no problem with an open border.

The video obtained by Fox News shows suspected cartel gunmen crossing into Texas carrying rifles and wearing body armor. The three men were seen on camera Saturday night in the Fronton area. They were spotted moving through brush.

Border Patrol agents, including the BORTAC tactical unit, were deployed to the area but didn’t find anything. This is the same area where five suspected members of the Northeast Cartel were arrested in June.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) drone operators in Eagle Pass spotted an armed smuggler in Eagle Pass carrying a long gun and guiding a group of illegal immigrants across the Rio Grande.

In that instance the man made it back to Mexico, authorities said.

While the overwhelming majority of migrants coming across the border do not have criminal records, the large numbers of people coming across has raised concerns – particularly from Republicans – about who may be among the hundreds of thousands of people who are able to evade Border Patrol agents. The head of Border Patrol announced last week that agents nabbed four sex offenders – some with convictions of crimes against children – at the border coming into the U.S. within a single day.

The number of illegal immigrants crossing the border into Arizona at Ajo has noticeably increased in recent weeks. They are temporarily held in cages due to a shortage of shelter space in which to detain them.

Joe Biden has failed to secure the southern border. He intentionally opened it up when he came into office. Now he just ignores the situation. He traveled to Arizona and New Mexico on Tuesday for campaign events and fundraising but was nowhere near the border.

Republican members of the House Oversight and Judicial Committees came together to hold a field hearing in the border town of Sierra Vista, Arizona. The region is notorious for drug trafficking and a popular route for illegal immigrants. Cochise County, Arizona Sheriff Mark Dannels, local rancher John W. Ladd and immigration attorney Andrew Arthur testified.

Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs Chairman Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., and Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance Chairman Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., will spearhead the hearing titled “Biden’s Border Crisis and its Effect on American Communities.”

The hearing aims to delve into the ongoing humanitarian and national security challenges at the southern border, and its impact across American communities.

The hearing was the second instance of House Republicans holding a field hearing in Arizona. The first one was held in Yuma in February.

Two governors running for the Republican nomination for president have weighed in on the southern border this week. Governor DeSantis said he will secure the border by use of deadly force, if necessary.

Governor Doug Burgum visited the border to see for himself and to thank the troops deployed from North Dakota.

The porous southern border is a big issue with voters. Every state has become a border state during the Biden border crisis. DHS has deliberately moved illegal aliens into every congressional district in the country. Biden would have done himself some good if he had just stopped at the border in Arizona, even briefly, to show a little interest. But, no. He doesn’t care. He proves it with his silence every day.
