Karine Jean-Pierre was on quite a roll during Tuesday’s White House press briefing. She dodged questions about the corrupt Biden family business dealings and pointed a finger at Republicans for putting investigations into the foreign business dealings of Hunter Biden and Jim Biden on the agenda. She also fielded a question from FNC’s Peter Doocy about the increase in illegal migrants crossing the southern border.

The press secretary once again answered that talking too much about the chaos on the southern border brought about by the Biden border crisis is aiding the smugglers. She said that “misinformation” helps the smugglers, though she didn’t bother to explain what exactly is the misinformation that she is referring to in her answer. Along the way, she spread some misinformation of her own.

She was asked to comment about a jump in border crossings, with 6,000-7,000 people crossing the southern border each day amid uncertainty about the future of Title 42 border policies.

‘And we have to be very careful here on how we talk about this because if we talk about it in a way that is misinformation, that helps the smugglers and so these are the issues that the President has taken incredibly seriously,’ she told Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy. She didn’t specify precisely what misinformation she was referring to.

She talked up administration efforts to deal with an influx of migrants – and what she repeatedly termed ‘irregular migration,’ amid a major deployment of Border Patrol agents at the southern border. It came on a day when New York Mayor Eric Adams took aim at Colorado Democratic Gov. Jared Polis for an ‘unfair’ plan to send migrants to New York.

Biden ‘has taken historic actions that no other president has been able to do when you think about the 23,000 agents that he’s been able, we’ve been able to put out there to deal with the issue.’

What? I’ve been writing about the Biden border crisis since Joe Biden created it on his very first day in the White House. He ended all the policies and agreements he could that the previous administration put in place. Biden thinks being the not-Trump guy makes him look more humane on border policy. It’s the exact opposite, of course, because the humanitarian crisis on the border is something our country has never seen before. Drug cartels control large portions of the border and are making billions of dollars. Human traffickers are making money off of migrants trying to cross the border. Women and girls are being raped and sold into slavery. Children and adults drown in the Rio Grande River. Unaccompanied minors are left to fend for themselves as they cross the border. What “historic actions” has Joe Biden taken? The only thing historic about his actions is the historic level of illegal immigration and chaos on the border.

Misinformation? Please. She may not want reporters asking questions or cable news hosts doing stories on the border but the story has to be reported. She is no doubt pleased that most networks don’t bother to cover the border and cover for the administration. This is a dereliction of duty by Joe Biden and it should be an impeachable offense. The problem isn’t misinformation.

She called on Republicans to ‘think about the smugglers really putting a plan in place that we deal with the smugglers.’

I have no idea what she is talking about there. She probably doesn’t, either. She probably read that sentence out of her giant book of answers she brings with her to every press briefing.

Exactly. He may have been focused on the border but it isn’t to secure it, it is to leave it as porous as possible to encourage the flood of illegal migrants crossing the border.

KJP and DHS Secretary Mayorkas have accused Republicans of helping the smugglers with their “rhetoric” about the southern border. President Unity and his administration have no other response other than blame Republicans for everything, though Republicans have been shut out of power for the first two years of Biden’s term as president.

It’s not just Republican governors that are sending migrants to sanctuary cities and states now. The Democrat mayor of El Paso and the Democrat governor of Colorado are sending buses to New York. Mayor Eric Adams of New York City is angry that people take him seriously when he says NYC is a sanctuary city. It is by law, as a matter of fact. Now that he’s had to deal with a small part of the fallout from Biden’s border crisis, he says it’s all an embarrassment for the Biden administration.

‘This is a Biden issue, a Democrat issue that now folks like you have to deal with. To be specific and fair, that’s just the truth,’ he said Tuesday on WABC, Fox News reported.

‘Well, when we think about the immigration reform, we’re going to need the help from Congress as well,’ Adams said. ‘I think the president has an obligation to deal with the immediate concerns. But when we talk about immigration, it is going to take a combination of the executive and the legislative body. We have to address this.’

He also called the issue a ‘real embarrassment.’

“It’s a real embarrassment, I believe, on a national level, and we must have an appropriate response. We have had conversations around the issues on migrants for decades. This is a national issue. It must have a national response,” he said on ‘Sid & Friends in the Morning.’

Joe Biden isn’t embarrassed. The open borders crowd isn’t embarrassed. The radical progressives that have Joe Biden over a barrel aren’t embarrassed. The porous border is intentional. It isn’t an embarrassment, it’s a national disgrace. It’s a dereliction of duty. The United States is no longer a sovereign country as long as it cannot secure its borders.
