Iranian TV Airs Video on Targeting Barron Trump

Iran's government has not been shy about its desire to murder President Trump. Just last month, Tehran was awash in giant banners including one that showed Trump lying in a coffin and another that read "We will kill Trump" in English.

But that apparently wasn't enough for Iran. A couple days ago a state TV channel aired a video titled "Where to kill Barron Trump" which places a bounty of $10 million on the President's son.

The footage, which was reportedly released by media linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed a $10 million bounty had been placed on him.

The video opens with the title: ā€œWhere to kill Barron Trump?ā€ It depicts a man resembling him and suggests general locations where he might be found...

Trump, who was 10 years old when his father was first elected president and is now 20, has kept a much lower profile than others in his family.

He has occasionally appeared at high-profile events with his father, such as at his Inauguration Day ceremony in January 2025.

President Trump called the Iranian leaders "scum" and "sick people" last month. All this threat against Barron Trump does is prove him right. The Secret Service has said they are aware of the threat.

ā€œThe U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,ā€ a spokesperson for the Secret Service told The Post. ā€œOut of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence.ā€

Apparently this latest threat is a sequel of sorts. The regime previously released a similar video about Melania Trump.

It comes on the heels of another video paraded around IRGC-linked media from July, in which Tasnim News Agency released a video, ā€œWhere to Kill Melania?ā€ that similarly claimed to know Melania Trump’s location.

The previous video got some attention last month:

The video about Barron was captured and translated by MEMRI: Here it is.

Iran routinely makes all sorts of fanciful threats aimed at the U.S., most of which they can't possibly carry out. But this seems different. They aren't promising to do this themselves so much as encouraging deranged people who are already here in the U.S. to do this for the promise of a reward that may or may not exist. Hopefully no one will respond to their call.
