Vivek Ramaswamy was never my cup of tea and this is why. Because, on the one hand he could occasionally do a solid job putting the progressive media back on its heels on the other hand he was also willing to indulge stupid conspiracy theories like this:
I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.

Where do you begin to peel back this onion of nonsense? I guess we can start with the idea that the outcome of the Super Bowl has already been decided. Because really that’s his first line and the rest of the conspiracy doesn’t work unless that part is true. So the entire NFL is rigged just for starters. Outside forces have already decided the Chiefs will win all so that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift can use the cultural moment to endorse Joe Biden.
Proof for this claim? We’ll there isn’t any of course. In fact, the Chiefs aren’t even favored to win the Super Bowl at this point, they are the underdog according to the betting markets. But never mind that, it’s all to make their eventual win a more powerful cultural moment and hence create a more potent endorsement for Joe Biden.
Vivek doesn’t seem to have noticed that Taylor Swift is already a Super Bowl sized cultural powerhouse on her own. She sold out more stadiums last year than anyone else and topped all of the streaming charts and was named Time’s Person of the Year. She was probably already going to endorse Joe Biden as she’s known to be left-leaning. She doesn’t need the Super Bowl moment for her views to gain attention. She could announce a press conference tomorrow or three months from now and whatever she said would be common knowledge around the globe within a day. There is literally no celebrity more famous on earth right now, except maybe those guys from the boy band BTS.
Bottom line, none of what Vivek is saying here makes any sense so why is he saying it? This is the part that really worries me because there are a seemingly endless number of people online who’ve decided that this kind of abject cultural cynicism is the modern equivalent of being smart. I’ve posted stuff from this account before.
What's happening with Taylor Swift is not organic and natural. It's an op.

Taylor Swift is the most organic cultural force you could possibly name. She has millions upon millions of fans built up over a very long and successful career, culminating in a tour that dominated the US (and other countries) last year. The fact that she is currently on the covers of magazines is also an organic reaction to her organic success. Magazine publishers know that having her face on the cover will sell magazines precisely because she has millions of rabid fans who can’t get enough of her. The media didn’t make Taylor a success, they are trying to ride the coattails of her success. Magazines put the Beatles on their cover back in the 1960s. That’s just how this works.
And who knows, Joe Biden or someone in his White House is probably trying to ride Taylor Swift’s coattails just like all those magazines. I’m sure they would give anything for a public endorsement or even a meeting between her and Biden which would be reported around the world. But if that happens it won’t be because hapless, barely coherent Joe Biden put the entire media manipulation plan in motion months ago. We’re not living in Panem and the NFL is not the Hunger Games. If an endorsement happens, it will be because Taylor Swift has a massive organic fanbase that’s useful to the White House and also because she’s personally a bit left-leaning. That’s the secret.
Taking these obvious and organic situations and framing them as some kind of cynical master-plan by the elite is not a sign you’re smart. It’s a sign you’re trying to appeal to a certain strain of very online person who uses the word “psyop” a lot. And the thing is, Vivek really is smart and clearly can do better than this if he wants to but I guess he’s figured out that the people he’s trying to appeal to really like this nonsense and for whatever reason he’s decided to play along with their stupid game rather than refuse to embarrass himself.
Fortunately, there are still plenty of sane people who aren’t playing along.

Until wokeness popped up the media didn't follow the love lives of celebrities or write about them in gossip magazines or try to film them canoodling… all this is new. It's an op. We all feel it. We all know it. Wake up sheeple. Garble blarble. https://t.co/Q9DQIjjo6i

If you're finding tenuous connections between everything, are you really that different from people talking about intersectionality and the woke? https://t.co/HeBrdOjpJK

Is this where we are now? Has the “psyop” right decide that a) the NFL and b) a heterosexual relationship between a jock and a pretty blonde are now the secret tools of the devil? If so it can’t be long before mom and apple pie are also revealed to be part of the psyop.
Update: And here’s Vivek responding to stories about his tweet. Is he trying to say this was all a joke? If so, it’ll be news to the hundreds of people who agreed with him all of whom he can presumably see.
Here’s what I said, funny how MSM is losing its mind over it. 😂 https://t.co/PQ0eFFVhFV

I should have known Iowahawk would have a good response to this.
