Sunday night the Wall Street Journal published a story titled “Elon Musk’s Friendship With Sergey Brin Ruptured by Alleged Affair.” Here’s the opening paragraph:

Elon Musk engaged in a brief affair last fall with the wife of Sergey Brin, prompting the Google co-founder to file for divorce earlier this year and ending the tech billionaires’ long friendship, according to people familiar with the matter.

The rest of the story is behind a paywall but it was quickly picked up by the NY Post which made it the cover story:

From the NY Post:

Brin and Shanahan were separated but still living together at the time of the affair in December, a person close to her told the Journal.

Brin, who’s worth $90 billion, filed for divorce in January, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The filing came several weeks after Brin found out that Shanahan hooked up with the world’s richest man, people familiar with the matter told the Journal.

The WSJ claimed Musk apologized on one knee for sleeping with Brin’s wife.

4. At a party earlier this year, Mr. Musk dropped to one knee in front of Mr. Brin and apologized profusely for the transgression, begging for forgiveness.

But shortly after the story was published Sunday night, Musk tweeted that it was “total BS.”

This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night!

I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.

Musk added that he hadn’t had sex in months.

Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh)

He also took a shot at the WSJ:

WSJ has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla I’ve lost count! It’s embarrassing for them, frankly.

They once wrote an article saying FBI was about to arrest me, so I called FBI to ask what’s up and they said WSJ article was total bs.

In a follow up to their cover story, the NY Post published a photo which Musk said proved he and Google CEO Sergei Brin were still buddies.

“Took this pic only two hours ago,” Musk told The Post of the photo of him laughing while rubbing shoulders with his fellow billionaire…

“Nicole and Sergey’s divorce has absolutely nothing to do with me,” Musk insisted by email.

“I am sure both Nicole and Sergey would confirm that. I spoke with both Sergey and Nicole about this and they say the story isn’t coming from them, so [it] must be a case of broken telephone, two or three layers removed,” he said.

Definitely looks like a party and they both seem to be having a good time. So either it never happened or it did happen and Brin is over it. Either way, there certainly have been a lot of stories about Musk’s sex life ever since he started criticizing woke progressives on Twitter. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence.
