Leaving aside any more cheesy Smokey the Bear references, we wanted to take a moment to remind you of the ongoing ideological battle that is constantly unfolding in both mainstream and social media today. As you are no doubt aware, there is an army of liberal “fact-checkers” operating out there who are frequently far less interested in actual facts than in finding the most persuasive way to spin reports of current events in a way that best reinforces the biases of the progressive movement in the United States. When a debate on any major topic of interest is taking place and there are multiple viewpoints being expressed, including by acknowledged subject matter experts, these outlets and individuals will pick the positions that most favor their side and declare them to be “facts,” while labeling any competing theories as “misinformation” or even “disinformation.” Numerous examples of how often they manage to get these stories completely wrong abound, including the competing theories as to the origin of the Wuhan virus and the history of the Steele dossier, among others.

We are also constantly dealing with the liberal phenomenon of cancel culture. This is yet another tool they employ to try to silence dissenting voices.
