Welcome to our VIP feature for Hot Air as well as a members-only show in the Hughniverse! Duane Patterson and I now are doing a Week in Review show for Friday evenings, exclusive to members in both platforms. Duane has been the Generalissimo behind the Hugh Hewitt Show for more than two decades, and we have partnered on weekly commentary since 2007.
What stories topped your priority lists this week? Clearly, the week's dominating story is Donald Trump's MOU with Iran. Or is it JD Vance's? Duane and I discuss the supposed ceasefire and the prospects for it lasting out the next week. Israel is clearly not going to play along in Lebanon and allow Hezbollah to continue attacking, regardless of what Vance has to say about its alliance with the US.
We put that aside and go into a deep dive on Graham Platner and James Talarico, who exemplify the radical Left almost perfectly as momma's boys who mooch off their parents while demanding justice. Why would a grown-ass man and state legislator still need to be on his mother's checking account at 37? For the same reason a Nazi-tatted creep lives on a house bought by his father and off a revenue stream created by his mother's restaurant. We don't mention a famous Lost Boy in this discussion, but the entitlement on the radical Left is clear enough.
We finish up by reviewing the allegations from Tulsi Gabbard about how Anthony Fauci helped create the COVID-19 pandemic, manipulated intelligence to cover his ass, and generally turned into every Hollywood stereotype of a mad scientist. We are not optimistic for accountability in any practical sense, but Duane wants the record corrected on "Saint Fauci," as do I. We then point out the disgrace that took place at Barack Obama's presidential library opening, and we don't just mean Hillary Clinton showing up in a Paddington Bear costume.
Be sure to watch it all, and extend the conversation in the comments!
