Welcome back to our VIP video series "The Amiable Skeptics," featuring my friend Adam Baldwin! Adam is well-known for his long and storied Hollywood career, starting with My Bodyguard, and especially for his roles in Full Metal Jacket, Firefly, its film sequel Serenity, Chuck, and The Last Ship.
Kamala Harris will unveil her economic "plan" later today, but both Adam and I are ... skeptical. Adam expects little more than a rhetorical provocation, where I think it will be mainly a bunch of Joe Biden's clichés slammed together into a Harris word salad. We also talk about her promise to impose price controls and how that will impact the economy. All of this seems in service to the neo-Marxist dialectic, Adam argues, and designed to obfuscate -- as well as to get the media to amplify the fog.
