Follow the bouncing Biden ball: The Amiable Skeptics featuring Adam Baldwin!

Do “Robert L. Peters” and “J.R.B. Ware” make an appearance on today’s Amiable Skeptics? Naah, but Adam Baldwin and I discuss the latest in the Biden Inc corruption scandal — and what it means for American governance. Joe Biden’s lack of empathy for anyone not named Biden is emblematic of what Andrew Malcolm used to call Ubi est mea politics, seen clearly in the Biden response to the Maui catastrophe.  “That’s just so clumsy,” Adam says when I introduce him as J.R.B. Ware. “They just feel invincible. … like even if I get caught, I’m not gonna get caught.” Will that remain true, or can Republicans force accountability on the Bidens? And could that come from the House Armed Services Committee?

Welcome back to our VIP video series “The Amiable Skeptics,” featuring my friend Adam Baldwin! Adam is well-known for his long and storied Hollywood career, starting with My Bodyguard, and especially for his roles in Full Metal Jacket, Firefly, its film sequel SerenityChuck, and The Last Ship.

Highlights from today’s show include:

  • Will another House committee enter the Biden investigation? “James Rosen at Newsmax had an interesting report,” I point out, “that said that the hosting of these [Biden covert] email addresses took place within the Department of Defense, in an elite cyber unit.” If confirmed, I continue, “[it] means that not only was he trading off his office, he was also using top secret or secret military systems in order to conduct the cover up.”
  • Adam’s skeptical that anything will ultimately come of it, however. “Well, he is caught,” he says, but “it’s just a question of who’s going to report it, and are there going to be any charges filed? Obviously not under his own Department of Justice.”
  • The bigger issue is whether Biden is bothering to do anything that doesn’t personally profit him. The attempt to blow off the Maui catastrophe, and then to make it about himself, was shocking enough to prompt that question, Adam says. He also notes just how badly the state officials performed both before and during the fire, and notes that the media has soft-peddled that aspect from the beginning.
  • I’m old enough to remember the media’s reaction to “Heckuva job, Brownie,” I tell Adam. When it comes to Biden, the standards change dramatically. “This guy, it took him, what, ten days or something like that to even fly there in the 1st place,” I say. “And they’re trying to say, oh well, he’s still empathetic, he still cares.”
  • “Going back to Kanye West’s quip, that George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” Adam says, “you can make the analogy that Joe Biden and Team O’Biden don’t care about Hawai’ian people. I think it’s more that Joe Biden takes Hawaiian people for granted,” he continues, “because he knows it’s a solidly blue state, and he doesn’t have to expend much effort to care for them.”
  • We then get back to the Hunter Biden corruption thread, and the State Department memos uncovered by John Solomon at Just the News showing that the US had assessed Viktor Shokin positively — and Joe had him fired anyway.
  • And why didn’t Fox News ask about any of this in the GOP debate last week?

That just scratches the surface of the show. Be sure to watch it all, and extend the conversation in the comments!
