Eager to Kill...

Longtime readers know that I am a vehement opponent of state-sponsored medical murder.

Yes, I know. It is sold as compassionate care for the incurably ill who don't want to suffer every moment until they die a horrible death. I am even sympathetic to the propaganda version if I believed it were remotely close to representing reality. I understand why some poor soul with a horrific, incurable disease might want to end his suffering, even if I doubt I would avail myself of the service.

But as with so many "products" the industry of death sells you, the reality doesn't come close to matching the sales pitch.

Providing medical murder has become an industry in Canada, along the same lines as the "gender-affirming" industry in Canada. It is driven by a combination of financial incentives and zealous ideologues eager to use their "skills" or their persuasive powers to expand an industry that commits atrocities at scale

A London, Ont., doctor who assessed a patient with inflammatory bowel disease and a history of mental health issues for MAID outside a Tim Hortons location and later personally drove the man to the place his life was ended has agreed to a minimum six monthsโ€™ supervision.

In another case, Dr. James MacLean failed to administer one of three drugs used in assisted deaths โ€” one that paralyzes the bodyโ€™s muscles, including the muscles involved in breathing. The patient resumed spontaneously breathing again after initially being pronounced dead, and after MacLean had already left the home.

As first reported Monday by the The Globe and Mail, the doctorโ€™s case is raising new concerns about MAIDโ€™s oversight and accountability.

โ€œWhat is striking is not only the seriousness of the concerns identified in these cases, but the limited regulatory response,โ€ said Dr. Ramona Coelho, a family physician and former member of the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontarioโ€™s MAID death review committee.

Finding medical horror stories isn't difficult. When you are talking about an industry that touches almost everybody, is complicated, often delicate, and routinely deals in life and death, you could find something that appalls you without trying.

But we aren't talking about medical errors here. Iatrogenic deaths will be a fact of life as long as human beings are involved in any way with medicine, because human beings are fallible, and half of all doctors are below average by definition. As with "gender-affirming care," the very foundation of MAiD is causing harm.

Canadian doc meets a 45yo Crohnโ€™s patient one time outside a coffee shop, decides to euthanize him.

One of the reasons - "didnโ€™t have an active social network."

Drives the guy to an industrial funeral prep facility and murders him.

Family wasnโ€™t told, couldn't even say goodbye. Yet, the only consequence is a verbal reprimand and 6 months supervision.

When the State imposes such a high burden of inhuman indignity on its citizens, those citizens have an obligation to repay that imposition with one of their own - the cost can be nothing less than the life of a petty tyrant.

A child can be sterilized and mutilated after a 30-minute evaluation, and a man can be killed after a consult over coffee and donuts in a parking lot.

MacLean was called before the committee to be verbally โ€œcautionedโ€ with respect to the MAID complaints.

In addition to agreeing to mandatory clinical supervision for at least six months as part of an โ€œundertakingโ€ with the college, MacLean will undergo ongoing review of his MAID patient charts and mandatory professional education related to MAID, consent, documentation, professional boundaries and professional behaviour.

After six months, heโ€™ll undergo an assessment of his practice, the results of which โ€œmay form the basis of further action by the College,โ€ Laura Zilke, a CPSO spokesperson said in an email to National Post.

And, as with gender medicine, the institutions will back the practice of MAiD to the hilt, because the alternative is giving up the financial benefits that sustain the practice, and will expose the people involved to the well-deserved scorn or even punishment they so richly deserve.

Better to keep maiming and killing.

The doctor's response was to ask the family in the room to hold her down so the procedure could be completed.

The family complied. The procedure was completed.

The detail that makes the story collapse on itself: the woman had signed ๐š๐ง ๐š๐๐ฏ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  years earlier, before her dementia advanced. The doctor sedated her with a coffee. When she woke during the procedure and resisted, the document she had signed years earlier was treated as the controlling voice in the room.

The podcast notes that the court that reviewed the case ruled the doctor had ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ. The piece of paper from before outranked the words coming out of the patient's mouth at the moment of her death.

This is the question every Western government quietly building out assisted-dying laws refuses to answer in public. What happens when the person on the table changes her mind?

In this case, they held her down.

We have reached the point where doctors and family members are physically restraining frightened patients in order to complete the murder of a "patient" who changes their mind. In the name of "compassion."

Ontario doctors are under orders to lie on your death certificate.

Not shade the truth. Lie.

Here it is. Official. In writing. From the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

"The illness, disease or disability leading to the request for MAID is to be recorded as the cause of death. The certificate cannot include any reference to MAID or the medications administered."

Medical care is expensive; murder is comparatively cheap, and in places such as Canada, where the medical care is "free," the incentive for the state to kill off the expensive patients is enormous. Combine that with zealous doctors, and you have a witch's brew of toxic ideology and financial incentives that lead to the rapid expansion of a practice that now has medical murder as the fourth most common cause of death in Canada, with its growth accelerating.

Canada told this manโ€™s wife to kill herself with MAID because they had โ€œno treatmentโ€ for her stage 4 ovarian cancer.

They lied about HIPEC surgery. Lost her chemo requisition. Her oncologist never even met her in person. ERs sent her home with opioids while her lungs filled with fluid.

So they evacuated her by ferry from Vancouver Island to Seattle.

America got her into the system immediately. Started chemo. Gave her the surgery Canada said wouldnโ€™t work.

Every time she went back to Canada, she nearly died again, going septic in Canadian hospitals until her husband literally unplugged her from machines and evacuated her back to the US.

They finally got him a green card in under three months with the help of a Congresswoman. Now theyโ€™re in Texas.

His wife is heading into her THIRD remission. She squatted 175 lbs for five reps last week.

Canadaโ€™s answer was death. Americaโ€™s answer was treatment.

Thatโ€™s the difference. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

This year or next, Canada will expand eligibility to adolescents without parental consent, and to people with diagnosed psychiatric conditions such as anxiety. Anything in the DSM can get you killed.

Soon, when you call the suicide hotline, the first question will be "Is this an order for a suicide, or a cry for help in preventing one?"

Maybe the doctor will even provide a free ride to the suicide chamber.
